Benoit Valmonte, a young Seattleite hoping to make it big in the game industry, purchases a game he has never seen nor heard of before.
And once he plays “The Legend of Daig'digaia”, the game in question, he is sucked into another world – specifically, the world of the game itself.
His mission is simple: Find fifty adventurers who are coincidentally his classmates, and fight the ultimate threat alongside them.
And thus, he can go home safely.

The Daig'digaia Saga: Fifty Adventurers Come Together!

As it turns out, the members of Benoit's crew end up in several weird places, apart from each other.


"Very well. This virus I've concocted tests your loyalty to this fool, and will determine if you can hold out on your own without him. I have assigned one specific challenge per group, and I have decided which of you is assigned to this and that group. Now then... have fun surviving!"


The Ishi-shiro officers – save for Aisha, Jamieson, Rosalind, Christian, Selena, Valerie, and Doris – appear in a place full of dust and dirt, as it is located in a town near the desert.


Arabic signage is everywhere, and the people there speak the language, all wearing their robes and burqas.


But the place has an aura of death and despair, as screams of anguish over the death of loved ones can be heard.


Edilbert comments, "This place... it looks like Iraq after Operation Iraqi Freedom. But at the same time, it is not."
