Side Story 13-3: Document 72 Hours: Steve’s House of Retro Gaming, Part 3

The coverage for day 3 starts here.

10 am.

Preparations are under way for the release of a brand-new game titled Naginata and Kikuichimonji, which is a 2D side-scrolling action game.

The game is slated for release exactly a week later, and thus posters and standees of the two main characters (who are cute female personifications of the namesake weapons) are displayed all over the shop.

While Steve's House of Retro Gaming serves to contribute to the overall gaming community in Daig'digaia by proving it classic games that everyone can still enjoy, it is not averse to much newer games, especially those that honor old-school gaming traditions.

Steve installs a sign on the shop's front that says "First 50 customers who buy Naginata and Kikuichimonji will receive officially-licensed foam replicas of the weapons used in the game, absolutely free!"

He tells himself, "This will surely generate hype for the game, rest assured."
