The Daig'digaia Saga: Fifty Adventurers Come Together!

Even if it was clearly defeated, the evil spirit still wanted to put up a fight.

Josiah went all-out on his shots from his bullpup rifle, while Fleur and Fiorella wailed away with their magic.

The evil spirit gloated, "As long as there are opportunistic people who want to rule with fear, I shall never perish!"

Josiah responded, "Well, let's see about that!"

He fired more shots, and those shots all hit the spirit.

His dogged persistence impressed the sisters, but they also saw in him a desperation to finish off the enemy.

And thus, they wanted to do something to save his life.

Fleur whispered to Fiorella, "Sis… I think it's time."

Fiorella whispered back, "Yes. For us to fulfill our purpose."

While the infantryman still held the fort, the spirit continued on gloating…

"Do not pretend to be a hero! MY EXISTENCE HAS NOWHERE TO GO! We will be together, and I shall kill you all! You animals!"
