Sunset red, Icy blue

Time felt weird these days. Some moments went by so fast and others felt like they had slowed down to a crawl.

As Gael stood on the balcony, the sunset warming his face, he felt one of the White sisters sit by him. He felt around with a gust of wind, the wild curls and petite height indicating that the one who had come was Rachel.

She cleared her throat, making her presence known.

"Hello." Came Gael's polite greeting.

Of course, he had been thinking about Nin. It hurt to think about her, it hurt even more to wonder if she thought about him. It had been three days and she hadn't called back. Gael hoped she had found a safe place to stay at while whatever stuff that happened at the Academy blew over.

"Hellooo?" Came Rachel's questioning voice, with a hint of sarcasm and he felt her hand wave in front of his eyes. "Can you hear me now?"

"..Yes. I'm terribly sorry for spacing out like that."

"Apology accepted. Now. We have a bit of a problem."
