Kwan sighed and rubbed his face, then inhaled and stepped closer, but I stepped backward, he put his hands down "it's just tradition. They have been here since forever since my father was alive. I didn't touch any of them.”
We were interrupted by Mila's mate, who asked all of a sudden, "where's Mila and James?”
"She's upstairs in our room, let the servants show you the way,” I replied to him calmly without taking my eyes away from Kwan. I wanted to read if he was lying to me or telling the truth and to be honest, I couldn't! He was ruthless with his plain facial expressions.
