Chapter Sixteen

Scarlett frowned deeply, as her phone began to ring; unknown caller ID.. she had a basic idea of who this was.. it could either be her father or her mother.

Leo and Allie would be downstairs hanging out with Zo.. he took a whole two weeks to heal from his wounds and now he was simply catching up with his siblings.. this incident had actually brought them closer as a family.

I have not actually had the chance to see him; he was often out with this ‘Jackson’ guy. Apparently, he had hurt Zo and then when Zo started spending time with Dante, he refused to accept their relationship and then left the Clan and town, due to heartbreak.

I knew too well how difficult that choice must have been for Jackson, but at least he and Zo could finally patch things up.. hopefully.

I sighed deeply again as my phone began to ring, for the second time. I guess ignoring the call would not work.

‘Well well well.. someone has their mind in the gutter’. Zo chuckled, lightly.
