“Bring your kid to work day...?” Rick looked up.
“Mhm!” Tammy nodded enthusiastically.
“You should bring Maru!”
Rick turned to her and sighed.
“How many times do I have to say that Maru isn’t my-”
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
“Oh, you’re both still here...?” Ms. Hoffman asked, peeking her head in.
“Y-yeah!” Rick exclaimed.
Ms. Hoffman smiled.
“Annette, tomorrow is bring your kid to work day, right?” Tammy questioned.
“Mhm, it sure is.” She nodded.
She then turned to Rick.
“Did I just hear you have a kid?”
Rick quickly looked at Tammy, then back to Ms. Hoffman.
“Y-Yea, her name is Maru!” He smiled, nodding.
“I see, well, don’t be shy. I’d love to meet her.” She smiled.
“Later.” She said, leaving.
“Hey, I should get home-” Rick began.
Tammy glared.
“What’s that look for...?”
Tammy let out a sigh.
“You’re hopeless; I’ll see you later,” Tammy huffed as she left.
