Chapter 29: "I'm Mia Chen.",
Morning.
The alarm hit as Mia woke up from her sleep, she ran into the washroom to see the time.
When she walked downstairs she saw the cold dining table with warm food. She just drank a sip of milk and took a roasted break piece and ran towards the door. Before she could enter the door she hit a big object that almost made her see the stars in the daylight. She frowned and raised her to see a well-built man with amazing features. He looked distant and cold.
"Sorry.", Mia bowed and when she was to walk aside and walk out. He blocked her. Mia frowned and moved to another side, he still blocked her. Seeing his clumsy actions Mia's frown deepened.
"Mister stand there and let me pause.", Mia spoke as the man did what she said. She she was to walk she saw him following her. When Mia was to turn and question him.
"Young Madam sorry I was late. This is Blackey, your bodyguard. He goes to the same class and place as you from today to protect you.", Hugo spoke as she was lost for words.
"Brother Hugo, I seem to have a hard time understanding what you mean.", Mia smiled awkwardly as she questioned him although she clearly understood what he implied.
Hugo who understood her sarcasm helplessly smiled. Although Mia looked silent to the world, she was a bubbly and smiling lady when she was with close ones. After a year journey, she became close with the Wayside people and showed her real side to everyone.
Everyone saw her simplicity and behaviour they all fell in love with her as they enjoyed her company.
"It is Young Masters order I can't help you, but rest assured he will act like a stranger in the University.", Hugo spoke as Mia stared at the man who looked like a statue.
Upon hearing it is his order Mia silently accepted her fate.
Hugo entered the car to drive her to university as Blackey sat in the front. They reached the University in an hour.
"Brother Hugo see you in the evening.", Mia smiled and waved at him.
"Young Madam stay safe.", Hugo still didn't feel safe letting her alone.
"Rest assured I'm wearing my make up.", Mia smiled as she left the car.
"Blackey she is strong but she needs protection so don't leave her side. Protect her with your life.", Hugo spoke as his voice was completely different from the time when he spoke with Mia.
"Rest assure, Cheif. I will make sure to keep her safe.", Blackey spoke.
"I'm no longer a Cheif.", Hugo replied as he unlocked his car door.
"You are forever my cheif.", Balckey spoke as he walked out of the car.
Hugo sighed as he took a deep breath. He started the car as he reached the Wayside in another hour.
"I asked you to call me up, see now she only drank a sip of milk and a piece of bread.", Leni complained as she stared at the untouched breakfast.
The Maid shivered as she stayed silent.
"Young Madam left before I ever saw her.", The maid shivered and replied.
"Next time be alert.", Leni calmly spoke as she walked towards the garden.
X University.
Medical Department.
"I'm glad to finally see you at the campus. Mia I hope you'll grow bigger and brighter in this field.", Professor Kay spoke as he stared at her with pride.
"Professor, I'll try my best not to disappoint you.", Mia replied.
"Alright go to your classroom. This is your route map of university.", Professor Ray spoke.
"Thank you sir, Then I'll take my leave.", Mia spoke. When she was about to leave...she saw a girl walk in all of a sudden making Mia take two steps back in time.
"Huh...cool cool cool I didn't hit you. Are you alright?", A girl's concerned voice was heard amidst the tower of books she was holding.
"I...I'm fine, but your books don't seem to.", The moment Mia completed her words the tower of books laid on the ground making a mess on the floor.
"Not bad you still have 9 books left in your hand this time. Joy you are improving.", The voice spoke as the boy placed his share of books in the desk.
"Trudo, are you asking for a beating?", The girl named Joy shouted in annoyance.
"I'm clearly complimenting you, why are you declaring a sudden match here.", The spoke as he looked dumbfounded while he was clearly teasing her.
"Alright you two, stop with your childish behaviour.", Professor Kay voice came through as they paused and stared at him.
"Professor.", Trudo greeted him as he bowed.
"Dad.", Joy was startled.
"Brat call me professor in the campus. Anyway I can't bother with you both. This is Mia, your classmate.", Professor Kay spoke as the both turned to see the human they ignored and fought like kids.
"Mia...? The topper Mia? The one who this guy lost too?", Joy spoke as Mia saw sparks in her eyes.
'Why was she so excited?', Mia thought it is not just happiness but it is beyond.
"Did they ask you about that?", Trudo gritted his teeth as he whispered to her.
"What do you think I'm here for? To hit you when you are at bottom ofcourse.", Joy gave an evil smile.
"Don't forget you are still a rank behind me.", Trudo spoke as Joy felt irritated.
"Alright you both, she is shifting from online to offline. From now on she will attend the classes so take care of her, also brat call your mom she is worried about you.", Professor Kay spoke as he left.
"Yes sir.", Joy spoke as she turned her head to Mia.
"Hello, Mia Chen. I'm Joy and this is Trudo. He is class president and I,The vice president. Ah, actually the Class President post was yours but when you refused it...as 2nd and 3rd rankers we are forced to take our roles by my father, who is also our class representative.", Joy spoke.
"I'm Mia Chen.", She smiled and replied.
"Don't worry me and this idiot will be there for you and help you.", Joy spoke as she nudged Trudo.
"Says the idiot who never succeeded against me.", Trudo spoke as he walked out.
"Don't mind that jerk, he is a bit irritating but a nice idiot. Once he knows you, he'll be a good friend.", Joy spoke as Mia smiled.
"Let's go, Professor Shin's class will start in a moment.", Joy spoke as they rushed towards the class.
