Delian's eyes widened, startled, and the coffee in his hand fell to the floor.

"W-what?" Delian stuttered.

"Mr. Iphir, nice to meet you, I'm Luke Elansi Evergarden. I am the one who cited you here."

Yes, this person was none other than Luke.

Just when Luke finished his introduction, Delian came back to his senses. He looked at Luke, a little doubtful.

"H-hello, I am Delian Morían Ophir, nice to meet you. If it's possible, may I know if you're the one who cited me here?" When he introduced himself, he stood up and spoke in a formal tone but with a doubtful look in his eyes.

"En. It was me. Mr. Iphir, I know it was a little impolite the way I contacted you, so I apologize, but I've heard from an acquaintance that you were investigating a corruption case related to some politicians and happened to have this little information about the secretary of presidency, Uldera Ramos." While speaking, Luke took a seat and sat in it. He spoke in an indifferent tone but with clear words.

When Delian heard this, he left his doubts and retook his seat.

"There's no need to apologize, to be honest, I'm grateful to you." He stared at Luke, then looked down at his computer and closed it, "I've been investigating this case for years, but I've never been able to find those types of evidence. If it's not impolite, may I ask you a question?"

"You can." Said to Luke while raising his hand to call a waiter.

"How did you get those papers*?"

"From a friend, but that's not what I came to talk with you about," Luke said, while speaking, he remembered his conversation with Athan three days ago.

Three days ago, after ending the discussion with Athan, he returned home to pack his things and return to live with his parents. But just as he was about to leave the mansion Varion arrived and stopped him at the door.

Varion was puzzled as to why Luke was leaving with his things, as if he was moving houses.

"Where are you going?" Varion asked.

"With my parents. I'll be away for a few months, so don't expect me to return soon. By the way, how is she?" Luke spoke, not even giving him a look, and even continued walking toward the door.

Varion didn't find anything strange from his first words, but when he heard Luke ask about 'that woman,' he knew to whom he was referring. For a second, his eyes changed but quickly returned to normal. His expression became puzzled, "What? Ah! You must refer to Vera, the housekeeper, right?...." He stared at Luke with sad eyes, " She had an accident a few days ago. Unfortunately, she died…, I'm sorry Luke." Saying this, his eyes turned red, lowering his head.

Luke stared at Varion; he was not referring to Vera. He knew that Vera was already dead and the cause was him, and the original owner only learned about this when he died. Varion had hidden this from the original owner since she died in the mansion, only saying to the original that Vera took a long vacation, but Vera never returned, and the original owner was a little sad, so when he learned of Vera's death before he died, he was filled with hatred. Vera saw the original owner grow from child to adult, and the original owner was very fond of Vera, learning of her death really caused his heart to shatter.

Luke stared at Varion with cold eyes, which made Varion feel a chill run through his spine when he was stared at by Luke with those bone-chilling eyes. Luke then diverted his eyes and left the mansion, leaving Varion, who was still stiff after being stared at by him.

Remembering Varion's face made Luke feel disgusted, but then he remembered the deal he made with Athan and became a little more relaxed.

At least, the Fraunces family would not protect that man, everything was solved, and just one thing was needed to make the man have no backing helping him, as for the protagonist, well, he could say she really had immense luck. Even though she already has the male lead, other suitors that could still save her at any moment this was not a problem for Luke, he had many ways to deal with her.

He stared at Delian, "I heard from a friend that you're good at dealing with divorce cases, Is it true?" There was no emotion in his tone.

Surprised, Delian stared at Luke, "Huh? Y-yes, I'm specialized in divorce cases. Why would you ask that?" Stuttering a little, he said.

"Well, I want you to help me solve my divorce, with the division of the property going most of it to me."

When he heard this, Delian stared at Luke with complicated eyes, he would never have thought that Luke was married, but as someone who specialized in these cases, he quickly adopted a proper attitude, "Young Master, if possible, can we change place to talk about this, I think, this place is not appropriate, as you know my office is on the building in front if you would like we can talk there." With that said, he got up and waited for Luke.

Luke didn't say anything just nodded, got up, and followed Delian. He also knew this place was not appropriate to talk about it.

After he followed Delian to his office, he sat & took out some documents and passed them to Delian. Delian sat on his office desk, seeing Luke pass him those files, he took them and started checking on them, while checking, he heard Luke speak.

"This is the evidence that I have regarding the reason as to why I want to divorce him. I want him to lose everything he has. You must be asking yourself why I married him, right? Well, the reason is that it was an agreement from both families, it was between my grandmother and his grandmother, but he broke the deal made. The agreement is with the files you're reading, I hope you can check if this could also help in annulling the marriage and make him lose everything." With that said, Luke waited for Delian to finish checking the files.

After almost checking everything, Delian finally started reading the agreement of marriage from both families. He was shocked because in these files was evidence of various crimes Varion Tevia Fraunces, albeit not as famous as his cousin, was still a well-known figure in the business world because he is a member of the Fraunces family, someone who was able to rise some businesses of the family making them enter in the top 50 companies.

Hearing Luke say they both were married surprised him but seeing is believing when he saw the agreement and the evidence of the broken agreement.

After reading the files, he finally spoke, "The case is not hard. Seeing how much evidence you had given it would be easy, but the problem is within the backing of your husband. I, doubt they would stay put if you were to divorce him wanting to leave him with nothing, they could probably interfere and even cause a backlash, and the one who would suffer a loss will be you, so…"

"You don't have to worry about that, I've already dealt with it. No one would interfere in this case." Interrupting Delian, Luke stood up, "Jus say how much time would take for the divorce to happen?"

"Normally, it would take a year, but because of all the files you've given me, it would take at most three to six months." Delian said, "Is that okay with you?"

"En, okay" Saying this, he stood up, "You can begin the process, send me all the process I need to take care of. Here's my phone number." Saying that Luke left.

After he left, Delian stared at the closed door in a daze when suddenly the sound of the computer receiving an email rang, which brought him back to reality. He immediately put aside the card with Luke's number aside and started checking the message he received.

After checking it, he was shocked. The email was sent by Luke with all the evidence of Udera's crimes, accomplices, and bribes.

On the other hand, after Luke left, he returned to his parent's house. Arriving home, Luke was received by a woman who immediately hugged him.

The woman seemed to be in his mid-thirties, and very beautiful & her appearance was five to seven points similar to Luke's looks. She was Luke's mother, Ming Yue. Although she changed her name after marrying Adam and now was called Adele.

"~My little baby~ How was it? did Everything go smoothly?" Adele asked as she rubbed Luke's hair. Worry filled her eyes when she let go of Luke and clashed eyes with him. Luke could see it but didn't say anything, simply nodded.

He walked, distancing himself from her. He was a little uncomfortable being touched by someone, so he quickly entered the house and went to the living room, sitting on the couch. Adele stared at him, her eyes on his back, a little sad, although she knew her son's change in the last three days, she was very distressed for him.

She followed him and sat opposite him. "Son, say something, don't you see mother is worried?" She said softly.

"Everything has been arranged. At most, three it will take three months." Luke answered his mother.

"That's good!!! That bastard must pay for what he did to you and that woman, leave her to me! I want to make her pay!" His mother was furious when she mentioned the things Varion did to Luke. God knows how angry she felt when she learned that Varion was trying to hurt her son, worst of it, Varion's mistress* was also planning to hurt her son, although, she didn't know the reason, she will always stand by her son's side.

*(Here, she refers to Adira)

Seeing his mother enraged for him and at the same time distressed, Luke felt strange, it's not that he had never felt family warmth, he had felt family warmth, but he stopped seeking this type of family love thousands of years ago after experiencing the torturous lives where every family that gave him love brutal deaths. Of course, the other reason is that some families in some of his lives betrayed him after giving him, family love. This was his cruel reality, and he accepted it. And with time, he became numb to these feelings.

"There's no need for you to do anything, I have other things prepared for her." Luke said indifferently.

Hearing his answer, Adele knew she shouldn't interfere, she loved her son very much, so she always spoiled him, although it was too much, she couldn't go against his will knowing his character. She was thinking of how to continue the conversation with her son when she suddenly caught sight of the invitation she was looking at before Luke returned. This gave her an idea of what to do to make her son feel more comfortable. She took the invitation and said, "Son, I was reading this invitation arrived today, it's an invitation from the Esperanto Family, inviting us to their new hotel's opening banquet. Your aunt hopes we can assist, but we'll be busy that day. Tomorrow I'll be going abroad to film a program for six to seven months while your father is going on a business trip for a week, your brother can accompany you. What do you say? Do you want to go?"

Hearing this, Luke moved his indifferent eyes and stared at the invitation in his mother's hands.

'System, what is the true protagonist doing right now? Can you check?' Luke asked in his mind. When he saw the invitation to the Esperanto family, he suddenly remembered one of the plot points that will happen in the Esperanto family social event (party/banquet/etc.).

At the moment, the authentic heaven's darling, Miranda Langstaff was in her office.

Recently she has been having bad luck. First, one of her business partners withdrew his investments. Second, the project she proposed to one of the major companies to cooperate with was said to be plagiarized & was sent to court. Right now, her company has just started and is facing its first obstacle and if she can't overcome it, then forget about making her company grow, can even lose the company she just started and be in debt.

Miranda was looking through the projects she organized that were said to be plagiarized when suddenly she came upon one that was said to be done by a woman from a major company, of course, this woman was Adira.

She skimmed through her project's proposal and then quickly took out the video from the project proposal presented by Adira, and then the name and character design were different, but everything else was the same.

Although Adira's project proposal was not as professional as her(Miranda) project proposal this did not change the fact that both game designs presented by both were almost the same but her(Miranda)'s project was more professional presented while Adira's project(Game design proposal) was more like a copy, but with not a good copy, just like a cheap copy, that is how it seems to be Adira's project proposal.

But what made her a little confused was, how Adira a fashion designer was capable of presenting a project proposal in a department that she was not an expert on. This proposal, after all, was in a different department from her current department, Games and Interactive Media design. What is worst is that although the theme was not the same as hers, the creation of each character in the game was exactly the same but just different places and different names.

She no longer believed that this was a coincidence, it was more likely someone stole her(Miranda) project proposal and sold it to Adira, but that doesn't explain why there were inconsistent points in the project.

She was filled with suspicions but didn't know who betrayed her and stole her project proposal.

Luke stared at Miranda through the broadcast that system Uno was displaying for him.

His mother had already left after he agreed to attend the social gathering(banquet/party) for her and his father.

'Continue monitoring her, also pay attention to the fake female lead's movements.' Luke said in his mind to system Uno. He then stood up and went to his room.

Three days, in three days, will be the Esperanto Family's social gathering, he would go and change the deposed protagonist's destiny. This social banquet was when Miranda lost everything and the place where her tragic life started. He would go and change it because by changing her ending, his ending will change.
