From first date to meeting parents?
I hummed happily as I made my way to the Twilight manor, I had someone special to pick up from there. Riveria and I had already agreed to have a date and see where things will go from there. It did take some convincing, especially about how Hephie was okay with it. Nonetheless, It seems to having multiple partners was not that exceedingly out of reach for royalties— which Riveria happened to be a part of.
I shook my head, although things weren't as simple. There was naturally a bit of apprehension about me being a human, but I suppose things calm down when you're strong. Not that I was entirely human at this point.

It was the morning of the next day after we crafted the blade.
"...So that's what you meant by me being your 'son'? That I kinda 'borrowed' your divinity when I increased my smithing level? So I'm kinda like a god of smithing?"
Hephie nodded."Yes, that's close enough. Although, I don't know what you are exactly, because you're still human… You keep telling me that means you are a 'demi-god'… We don't have that term here."
Right. That was a thing.
I looked at Hephi's exposed belly. She seemed to catch on my drift and bitterly said while rubbing it ." That's one of the reasons I'm okay with the harem thing. It's good that you can live as long as me, but children… they liven up the place."
"I wouldn't mind counting them as my own if the children are yours, Ken." she happily said.
I guess millennia of loneliness will get to you…
"Psshht" I blurted, and she looked surprised at my response in this growing melancholic mood.
I took her hands," How hard could it be to find a solution, Hephie. Don't look down on me, Mommy~" I grinned. "Tsk, tsk. So little faith." I shook my head disappointedly looking at her.
Having kids was definitely not on my immediate to-do list, but I wasn't averse to it in the long run. This topic is bound to pop up with our lifespan. You can only go so much without them...
She lightly slapped my face, "You keep getting cheeky each time… Although, I do prefer this over that…

...It was the best decision to remove that thing. It was hard for the first couple of days, not feeling constantly in control, that everything moved according to how I wanted it to. Likewise, it was an addicting feeling… But I persisted. It was also due to the help of a certain love goddess that I was able to pull through. Freya was surprisingly a good listener. She also had some experience in that regard as well.
'It took centuries to get of that rush, Ken. I hope that doesn't happen to you..." she said as a myriad of emotions crossed her face.
"Halt!" It seems I have already reached the Twilight Manor. They were the two same guards that welcomed me when I first reached the HQ.
"Sword King." They respectfully said, dazedly looking at me. I was already recognised as the second-strongest adventurer in Orario, right behind Ottar.
Well, they didn't need to know the truth anyway… Just being recognised as the second strongest was overwhelming enough.
"I'm a huge fan, Sir!" the first guard said.
"Right. So am I!"
I shook their hands individually. There were normal 'fans' like these once in a while that would stop at the simple handshake. Others not so much, especially the females. I shuddered, there were even some, particularly enthusiastic males…
Despite a couple of guards being fans, I wasn't just let immediately let through. I would be disappointed if they did.
I looked around the estate and locked eyes with two golden eyes that seemed to brighten up upon registering my appearance. Aiz quickly headed to the entrance and gestured to the guards to let me through.
They quickly did just that, the before professionalism went out of the window at a moment's notice.
I shook my head. The power of cuteness wins yet again.
"Ken. You are here. More fighting?" asked Aiz, accompanied by the same head tilt she usually had. Although, it was not as expressionless as before, if barely.
I shook my head as we moved on. "Nope." I ruffled her hair until it became messy. Luckily, I could already control whether Divine touch would activate or not.
She looked somehow disappointed once she leaned into my hand. I snickered at that," Is there something wrong?"
The loli blushed, unable to admit her inner thoughts, "N-nothing."
"Why are you here?"
I hummed, "I'm looking for Rivera."
"Why? You need magic training?"
I softly laughed as I sat down on the bench and the Loli sat there next to me. "We are going on a date."
"For what?"
What kind of questions are those...
"Uh… Adult stuff. You know you'll understand once you grow up."
'Adult stuff…' muttered Aiz below her breath.
Too late. It seems I already corrupted the loli…
"Well, I also want to do adult stuff. It sounds fun, why only do it with Rivera?" she pouted, crossing her arms and looking at me, no doubt hoping for a positive answer. She really did think it was training...
My mouth gaped at the incriminating words coming out of her mouth. I looked left and right in a hurry. I sighed in relief as it seemed that nobody heard what she said. That could have ended badly...
How do I weasel my way out of this?
Right. Let's just dump it on Mother Hen Rivera. I nodded wisely. The best option, honestly.
" I think you can talk to Rivera about it, she is going to explain it better." I paused, "But only when I'm not here, ok? The training will be making you stronger that way."
Aiz didn't look convinced at first, but she resolutely nodded once I said that the training will make her stronger. That was the magic word when dealing with her.
Let's let Riveria untangle this mess…

I smiled. She got here just right in time, it was about time this awkward mood was dispersed.
"Father and Mother would like to meet you."
My smile immediately receded… Isn't that too much for a first date? "Huh? Didn't we skip a bit too many steps here?"
Riveria seemed to agree with me, going by her brisk nod," Yes. The royal family inquired about me having a suitor." She shook her head. "The carriage should be here already to lead us to the royal forest." I widened my eyes, and she looked strangely at me, "Why are you so surprised? You brought this upon yourself."
I awkwardly laughed, scratching my neck. Maybe lighting up the sky with fireworks to ask her out was a bit too much in the end?
Nah.
