Truth

Part 7

Early in the morning Bayu waited for Dora in front of the campus. Dora had just gotten off the angkot when Bayu approached her.

"Ra, come with me for breakfast, okay?" Dora nodded and followed Bayu to the stall in front of the campus.

He ordered nasi uduk and offered Dora for breakfast too. Dora shook her head because she had breakfast at home earlier.

"Why didn't you reply to my brother's message? The phone didn't pick up either. Why?"

"I'm still annoyed, Bang, I just want to punch people," said Dora.

"Oh, be patient, Non, don't be the target, bro!"

"So Brother, don't be too upset, please!"

"Hmm, what's the problem, try to tell your brother!" Bayu's voice is softer than before.

After a long silence, Dora recounted the incident in the toilet yesterday. Bayu couldn't believe it, but he was sure that Dora was honest, that's why he trusted Dora.

"Why does Gita dare to do such a thing huh?" asked Bayu.

"Because... Bang Ridho is my ex-girlfriend. Sis Gita accuses me of wanting to take Ridho again." Dora replied.

"What? Bro didn't hear wrong, did you, Ra?" Dora shook her head, then a story about her past with Ridho and Gita was launched.

"So the rumors about Ridho being dumped by a high school kid are true, huh, Ra?"

"Yes, Bro, I've been willing to let him go, but I've always been bullied by Sis Gita until now." Dora said.

"Wow, people like that are sick." "Bro, promise me, don't tell anyone about this." Dora said.

"Okay, honey. I promise."

"I , bro, just continue with breakfast." Dora rose from her seat.

"Okay Ra, be careful crossing it." Dora nodded and left Bayu who was still busy with his breakfast.

"You heard it yourself, Lik, Dora can't possibly dare to argue if she doesn't feel right." Bayu spoke to himself, apparently not.

Someone who had been sitting near Bayu and Dora's table with their backs turned now turned and moved to the chair that was occupied by Dora.

"Yeah, I heard that Bay, I didn't think the Gita was that bad."

"So you have to apologize to Dora Lik, you embarrassed her in front of her friends." Bayu looked at his friend Malik. Malik took a deep breath, then nodded.

"But not on campus, I don't want the kids to know." Malik spoke quietly.

"Okay, this afternoon after futsal we will go to his house." Bayu suggested.

"Okay."

-----------------

"Good afternoon, the package Ma'am."

Dora, who was doing her homework in the living room, rushed to open the door.

Her mother is going to mal with her friends. When Dora opened the door just a little, Dora was startled and reflexively closed the door again.

"Ra, why is it closed again?" Bayu shouted in surprise.

"Wait a minute, I'll change first." Dora replied.

How can Dora not be embarrassed because she only wears a sleeveless shirt and shorts. That's why he opened the door just a little earlier. After changing clothes, Dora immediately opened the door to let her guests in.

Oops, even more surprised that behind Bayu there is Malik.

"Come in, please!" The two guests entered, Dora came back and came out again with a cold drink which was always available in her refrigerator.

"Drink itu, please, but there's no friend here."

"Hmm, thank you."

Dora straightened her books that were scattered on the table. Then put it under the table.

"You're still studying, hmm, very diligent, Ra." asked Bayu.

"Don't say, like that. I'm doing my homework this afternoon. At night, I like to fall asleep quickly." Dora replied.

"What are you doing here?" Dora asked then.

"Hmm, , there is someone who wants to talk to you." Bayu elbowed Malik, who had been silent all this time.

"Hmm, I'm here to apologize Ra." Malik opened his voice.

"Sorry for what?" asked Dora not understanding.

"Sorry for getting angry and punishing you without listening to your excuses yesterday." Dora looked into Malik's face, her eyes still as sharp as yesterday.

But now his gaze is more friendly. Then Dora turned to look at Bayu with a sharp gaze. Dora was upset because Bayu had promised not to tell anyone.

"Hey, don't be angry, Ra, I just talked about the problem in the toilet. Nothing else. Believe, me, please." Bayu frantically explained.

"Really, watch out for lies!" threatened Dora while clenching her fists towards Bayu.

"Ha-ha-ha. I promise, sorry, don't be so mean. Then there won't be any guys who want to date you, you know." Bayu is even more daring to tease.

"Leave it alone, you idiot." Dora answered but with a smile. Malik just smiled as he shook his head at the behavior of his friend Bayu.

"So, how you feel now, Ra, have you been forgiven yet?" asked Malik.

"Dora isn't upset with Malik, Dora is just annoyed with Gita. But Dora has forgiven you both. My mom said, we shouldn't hold grudges or be angry for more than a day. It's not good for health." Dora replied.

"Where's your mother, Ra? How come it's quiet?" asked Bayu.

"She is go to mal with her friends." The conversation continued, Dora just found out that Malik was a fun and friendly person.

His knowledge is also broad and not stingy to share knowledge. They even taught Dora about what Dora was working on.

But Dora was disappointed when she met him on campus the next day, Malik just nodded when greeted by Dora. Just like when greeted by other students.

"Hmm, maybe yesterday he was friendly because he felt guilty and just wanted to make amends to me." Dora thought at last.

"Heyy just dumbfounded, how are you preparing to climb the mountain for the first time tomorrow?" Bayu suddenly appeared and patted the shoulder of Dora who was dumbfounded.

"Eh, bro, everything is ready." Dora stammered.

"Good, don't be late, okay?" Bayu's message as he passed.

-----------------

"Check again the equipment you brought. Don't miss it. If you are sure, collect your bags beside the bus. Then line up in the middle of the field!" Bayu orders through the loudspeaker.

Meanwhile Dora was already lined up in the field. An hour after that the bus departed side by side as many as 3 pieces. The 3 hour journey made Dora choose to sleep as soon as the bus left. Moreover, the seat beside him was empty.

The committee did not give him a seat like him, because the committee will decide where to sit on this bus. When she was about to fall asleep, Dora felt someone sitting beside her. Dora wanted to see who was sitting just now, but because she was sleepy she put it off. I don't know how long Dora had been asleep, when she opened her eyes, the bus was still speeding.
