(Another way they could have met this is a one shot story, enjoy, be prepared it's a long one.)
He woke with a start in a strange place, it looked like some sort of camp. Nearby he saw a woman who wore black Jeans and an oversized purple hoodie, her hair, shoulder length and magenta at the bottom half. Obviously a grown out dye job, her natural hair ash blonde.
Leaning closer to her he studied her features, she appeared fuller figured and smaller than he expected for a Japanese woman. Her eyes opened revealing blue surrounding gold in the center.
She blinked looking around and then cursed under her breath jumping up looking panicked.
"No no no, this is not good, this is very not good I was supposed to observe the game, not be trapped in the game. Shit, shit, shit."
Her eyes finally noticed the young man in a black hoodie, his blue hair in front of his red eyes.
"Did you sign up or are you another victim..." she stepped closer surprising him.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, where are we, what game." He deadpanned eyeing the unusual woman looking around a thoughtful expression in those wide blue eyes.
Without looking at him she pulled a pamphlet that folded out into a map from her pocket. Offering it to him she began muttering taking a closer look at what appeared to be a campsite.
He took the paper noticing the gloves on his hands covering the thumbs and first two fingers on each hand. When did those get put on him. Angrily he tried to remove them only to realize they were cuffed onto his hands.
Finally he looked down at the pamphlet and began reading it.
The Fear Factory
Imagine a safe place to face your fears and have fun with your friends, the Fear Factory is that place, with five separate fear zones you could have almost any experience you desire. The rules are simple survive three days and freedom is guaranteed, with one Victim per group the chance to be their hero can be yours. Follow your maps, find the key out if you can and stay in the green zone when you need rest. Welcome to the most fun you will have living in a nightmare.
"The f@$% is this shit, I didn't sign up for this, how'd I end up here?" He opened the map portion looking at what looked to be a forest with numbers corresponding to each zone.
"Best I can tell we are in zone one, the first of the green zones they shift every twelve hours at midnight and noon. What time is it anyway...maybe three pm...which means we have nine hours give or take until the zone changes to the second one." She spoke up having found a bag from a pile of supplies and started stuffing things into it.
"How do you know all this?" He eyed the strange girl who hadn't stopped moving since she woke up.
"I'm a reporter it's my job to know these things, I was doing research for an article on this place, eight people have gone missing all connected to the Fear Factory, though the news isn't talking about it." She glanced over at him before trying to offer him a bag full of supplies.
He eyed it before putting the bag over his shoulder.
"So what do we do now? I don't remember how I got here and these damn gloves won't come off." He grumbled looking at the strange black fabric.
"Quirk suppression gloves, apparently it's to prevent damage to the surrounding area. I'm Emi Umi by the way." She smiled holding out her hand.
"Tomura, just Tomura." He eyed the hand not making any move to shake it.
She shrugged and smiled again.
"Tomura is a nice name, to answer the other questions we prepare as much as possible so that when this zone gets flooded with baddies we'll already be on our way to the next safe zone. We survive three days or find the key and with any luck we'll get out of this mess soon." Emi grinned he noticed she had prominent canines much like Toga though her grin was more wolfish than psycho.
"Apparently I'm the victim, which makes you the rescuer, just think of it as an escort mission." Emi said finally sitting on a log beside the cold firepit.
"You play video games?" He finally sat down on a log across the firepit from her, those red colored orbs narrowed slightly studying this girl with new eyes.
"Of course I do, just not as often as I'd like. One of my foster brothers got me into Halo years ago, he liked killing everyone including the marines, just to see how long it took for them to turn on him. Did you know that If you shoot the captain as soon as you get a weapon everyone else on the ship will instantly try to kill you? He got a kick out of that and kept resetting his game so he could do it again and again. I would just sit there annoyed but I found it kind of funny too."
She smirked looking lost in memories for a moment allowing Tomura a few minutes to study his new companion. He decided he liked her smile it was warm and strangely beautiful, a thought he had never had before.
"So are you hungry? There are supplies here for food and other necessities. Even a set of showers over in the clearing, each camp is pretty similar."
He shook his head and then tilted it looking thoughtful.
"What did you mean you were supposed to watch the game and not be trapped in the game? How'd you end up here?" His soft gravel voice almost whispered across the firepit.
"Well you see I got caught snooping outside trying to find my way in...I made a deal with the fog faced man, that if the gamers I chose survived their challenge that he would let me live. So I picked the mutant forest, thinking it would have the easiest outcome. I should have known better than to trust someone like that." She muttered the last part not realizing that Tomura had closed the space between them until they were inches apart.
"What do you mean by fog faced man, what color was the fog. What else did he say to you." His hand gripped her arm keeping her from moving away like she obviously wanted to.
"Whoa, first take a step back I don't like people in my bubble, second the fog was blackish he wore a suit and spoke with this deep voice. 'Be careful the test you choose." She deepened her voice into the perfect imitation of Kurogiri.
He stared for a moment at her sudden voice change then it was his turn to curse under his breath. He began pacing reaching up scratching at his neck unconsciously.
Emi approached and grabbed his hands causing him to stare in shock at her daring to touch him.
"You freaking out isnt going to help the situation Tomura, I'm guessing you know the guy? Why don't you use your words and tell me about it." Her voice was gentle and compelling not from use of a quirk but simply from genuine interest in the story.
Under other circumstances Tomura might have grabbed her throat and ended her, but something about those intent blue eyes cooled his anger, he had never had a woman look at him like that before.
"Kurogiri is one of my assistants, he helped raise me, I don't understand this betrayal, what the hell is he thinking with this shit." He grumbled fingers twitching wanting to scratch but found his hands bound by her smaller fingers. He couldn't help but notice she touched his gloves avoiding actual skin.
He pulled away almost reluctantly not wanting to admit he liked the contact.
"So we are both in an unusual situation, I'm sure the reason will become clear as long as we stay alive, we have three days, might as well make the most of it." Emi headed towards the trees at the edge of the campsite.
"Where the hell are you going Umi, the camp is over here." He followed after her genuinely curious as to what the blonde was thinking.
"Just checking out the border, might be able to see what we are up against." She replied picking her way carefully through the trees. "Rule number one when in hostile territory, know your enemy."
She held up her hand to silence any conversation from him as she pulled him behind a tree before glancing around it slowly, she felt him do the same thing.
What they saw horrified Emi who observed a massive hulk of corded muscle the skin black as pitch, she saw long daggerlike claws and then large sharp teeth below an exposed brain the eyes seemingly protruding from it.
Tomura reacted almost with relief as he moved away from the tree going towards the creature. Emi hissed in shock for him to come back. As soon as he passed the green line the creature turned towards him claws out.
"Nomu stand down." He held out one of his hands and three things happened at once.
The Nomu swiped at Tomura striking his middle as Emi pulled him back making the damage less than it would be, as Emi shot a taser at the creature dropping it to the ground.
She kept moving back with him until they collapsed in camp.
"What the f@$% were you thinking, that thing tried to kill you, are you insane?"
Emi lifted his shirt trying to see the damage, for once Tomura didn't react obviously in shock after the attack.
"Thank God it's a flesh wound no damage to your insides, that thing was going to scoop you out like a pumpkin. Hey Tomura, you alive in there I need you to take your shirt off so I can take care of this scratch." She snaps her fingers in front of his face waking him from his stupor.
"I need your help getting this shirt off so I can clean your wounds."
"I'll be fine, we don't need to do anything of the sort." He grumbled until an involuntary twinge of pain showed on his face.
"Mhmm sure we don't, arms up no argument from you, we don't want it getting infected." Her no nonsense voice made him sigh in frustration but he still obeyed allowing the hoodie to be removed.
She tried hard not to stare at the unexpected muscles he wore under that fabric, lean and graceful, not bulky but it was obvious he was fit.
Carefully she extracted the first aid kit from her bag humming softly as she sanitized her hands before spreading disinfectant cream on the shallowish scratches. She concentrated on the work so she wouldn't drool over the body before her.
She refused to lose control of her hard won composure to the first guy she saw half naked.
"So what made you think you could control that thing, is that your quirk or something?" She glanced up seeing his flushed expression as he looked away from what she was doing.
"I'm supposed to be able to control the Nomu...Kurogiri obviously reprogrammed that one somehow. Damnit, he is dead when I see him again." He grumbled lifting up his hoodie seeing the large slash marks in the fabric.
Her hand stilled unconsciously on his skin as she looked suddenly up at him.
"Nomu...like the things at the USJ attack and the attack on Hosu?" She stared at Tomura suddenly picturing him with a hand covering his face.
"Tomura Shigaraki, that's your real name...you're him aren't you, the leader of the league of villains." She watched him red eyes studying blue.
"You caught me, I'm the big evil scary Shigaraki. Gonna fear and hate me now?" He sounded bitter as he stood facing his back to her.
"I never said I would do any of that, so you're him, so what, I'm not afraid of you, you've done nothing to me. Besides I am not exactly a fan of the hero society as it stands. Come here I'm not done dressing your wounds."
She walked towards him carefully wrapping the bandage around his waist hiding the large scratches.
"I can probably fix your hoodie too found a sewing kit in the supplies." She glanced up at him seeing the surprise on his face.
"What?"
"You're not going to condemn me for being who I am?" His soft gravel voice did things to her abdomen that she didn't want to admit to, his chest being at eye level didn't help either.
"Why would I? As I said I'm not a fan of our current system of government. Quirkless people like me don't exactly get a fair shake at life because of it."
She took his hoodie and sat down on one of the logs beginning to carefully patch the clean slices.
"You're Quirkless?" He sounded genuinely surprised by this news.
"Quirkless but not useless, it is how I ended up working at a tabloid despite graduating top of my class in Creative Writing and Journalism, and speaking and writing in four languages. You think that would get me a great job, but no they all saw quirkless on my resume and suddenly all positions were filled up." She grumbled not missing a stitch as she worked.
"That sounds so unfair, I knew the world was heartless and should be reduced to ashes." He glanced at her and saw the small smile on her face.
"What's so funny."
"I would almost agree with that sentiment except that chocolate exists, I can't quite hate all existence while there is chocolate." She smiled at him offering his hoodie back.
"Um...thanks...for patching me up...and saving me from getting scooped like...a pumpkin." He muttered as he put his hoodie back on.
"You are very welcome Tomura, though if we do survive this game and I actually have the opportunity to write my article what name do you want me to use?" She stood stretching, which he found suddenly very interesting.
"Um...I wouldn't know I don't remember anything about my past before master rescued me from the streets and gave me my current name." He had quickly looked away from Emi when her eyes glanced in his direction.
"Hmmm Interesting how about Tomo, the last thing I want is the hero commission coming after me because they think I'm connected to the league of villains. I know too much about the situation with the commission to trust them."
"What do mean by that, what do you know?" He sounded genuinely curious about the subject as he leaned against a nearby tree arms folded across his chest.
"Oh it's a story I've been sitting on for about six months, rumors mostly about the hero commission taking very talented children and turning them into weapons. "Special heroes" as it were. One of the rumors suggests that the current #2 hero might be one of them." She shrugged "rumors or not I don't want to gain their notice and suddenly disappear. No one would come looking for me. Just one of those quirkless people who fell through the cracks."
She shrugged and worked on starting the fire in the pit, it was then that Tomura noticed the sun beginning to go down.
"We should probably eat something, so we'll be ready to move when the green zone does. How does sweet potatoes and rice soup sound?" She glanced at him as the fire lit in the pit catching quickly to the dry wood.
The ground as it got darker got a faint green glow allowing them to see the camp without physical light.
"Now that's weirdly cool, literally a green zone." He mused studying the ground.
"Phosphorus I think, though how they control it I'll never know." She patted the log beside her as she set up the pot for the soup, within a few minutes the water boiled and ingredient packets were poured in.
"Damn that smells good, or is that you?" He commented leaning over to smell her shoulder.
She playfully hit his arm smirking.
"I'm taking a shower as soon as we make the second green zone, I have a feeling it might be nerve wracking depending on how many of these Nomu are around."
"Thinking about it I probably should too, you can check my wounds then." He had a sudden naughty thought about sharing a shower but just managed to keep it to himself.
The dinner proved to be pleasant, though neither of them said much. Afterward they waited for midnight to come their only warning was an odd tone that seemed to ring through the whole forest. By that moment they were both on the move through the trees as the green light faded from the ground they had been standing on moments before.
They had to move slowly through the dark without flashlights depending on the light from the full moon above heading in the direction of the next safe zone. It took ten minutes of tense silence from them hearing the crashing of what supposedly were several Nomu moving through the forest.
Finally they saw the glow of the new zone in the distance just as a second Nomu appeared close by, Emi managed to use her stun gun to put it out of commission enough to make it safely in the green zone, only then did Tomura say anything.
"How are you doing that to the Nomu, what is that thing." He pointed warily to the stunner in her hand.
"The only weapons provided are these stun guns, apparently it shuts the Nomu down at least temporarily enough to escape. The only problem is I don't know how to recharge them so as far as I know they are good for one use each." Emi put down the empty stunner glancing at the limp Nomu, this one was paler than the first a tattered jacket around its muscular arms, something caught her eye glancing around she briefly left the green zone to cut something off the jacket.
Tomura quickly followed after and pulled her roughly back into the safe zone as she clung to the patch in her hand.
"What the hell was that stunt, what if another Nomu showed up to kill you? What is that thing anyway?"
"I'll explain once we get cleaned up, I have a theory I want confirmation on, but I want to clean up more."
She headed towards the camp making Tomura follow behind, something he had never done before, oddly he didnt mind following the attractive young woman.
The camp was similar to the first, the firepit and pile of supplies, even the bath house at the edge of the clearing. They still didnt need light between the Phosphorus glow and the full moon.
Entering the bath house they saw several stalls for showers with screened sections for dressing. Emi noted the box with her name on it outside one of the stalls. A second box lay at the opposite corner of the room presumably for Tomura.
Without much communication they both went to the two end stalls grabbing supplies and surprisingly clothing they would both recognize as theirs.
Emi enjoyed her hot shower, eyes closed as she hummed melodically to a song that had been stuck in her head for the last week.
Tomura for his part stood in his own stall back to the spray listening to her siren like humming, was there anything this woman couldn't do?
His body reacted to the idea of her being so close and also without clothing. He was a twenty year old man, he dealt with the situation as quickly and quietly as he could. Making sure to wash off afterward.
He pulled on the boxers and sweatpants that had been in his box, going to the mirror looking at the four long scratches across his side, they were deeper than he had first thought.
Still bleeding ever so slightly, he touched the small trickle seeing his blood for the third time in the last year, first the bullet wounds in his arms and legs and then the shoulder slice from that bastard Stain, all of these scars, he had long accepted the fact that he was not an attractive man.
It made him suddenly angry and then sad especially with this attractive woman so close by. He knew for sure that she would reject him if he attempted to seduce her. Why would she want a crusty scarred psychopath like him. His thoughts were interrupted when he saw her reflection.
She wore jeggings that hugged her shapely legs surprisingly long for someone her height and figure. The bottom of the pants were tucked into calf high black boots that looked good on her and sturdy enough for combat. The shirt she wore was the most surprising thing on her. It was pink and showed several pictagrams of a man avoiding what looked like the grim reaper. The writing on the top of the shirt simply read in English "How to escape death, and other awkward situations."
"This shirt seems oddly appropriate for our current situation." She explained grinning at him before noticing the oozing wound.
"Tsk, come sit down so I can get that cleaned again." She grabbed the first aid kit from her supply bag straddling a bench in front of him as he sat facing her.
He loved the feel of her slightly calloused fingers on his skin, and the look of concentration as she tended to his wounds.
"So what are the sleeping arrangements? If this place is exactly like the last safe zone there should be sleeping bags with the supplies." She glanced up at his face slightly surprised at how close his eyes were to hers.
She felt warmth suffuse her cheeks at the realization of how close he was to her. She didnt say anything else until his wound was wrapped again. She went to stand up only to find three of his gloved fingers wrap tight around her wrist keeping her close.
She sat down again quirking her eyebrow at him as he looked away one would almost say bashfully.
"Umi, I want to ask you something..." he could feel her heartbeat pick up through the pulse in her wrist, but when she spoke her voice was soft and calm obviously trying to hide her reaction to his touch.
"Sure, Tomura, what is it?" Carefully removing her hand from his touch so she could properly breathe without the rising panic and desire.
He turned to look her directly in the eyes, which she met straight on obviously waiting to see what he wanted to say.
"When this whole ordeal is over would you ever consider being with a man like me?" His voice was soft and he looked away again his hands clenched in front of him his whole body tensed as if preparing for rejection.
"A man like you or you personally." She replied just as softly leaning forward slightly those blue eyes intent.
"Th...the second one, I have never met anyone like you, you fascinate me in every way. I find myself wondering things I never would have given a damn about before. I have never found a woman attractive before, and it's not just your body, which is amazing by the way, but your mind intrigues me and I feel strangely normal around you like there are no expectations. Like I can truly be myself...I have never had that before."
He glanced at her with his red eyes his hair still wet and messy on his forehead hiding his features.
Emi looked surprised by his words but she smiled reaching up to push the wet curls from his face before stroking his cheek with the back of her hand. His eyes closed briefly at the gentle touch.
"I like you too Tomura, which is quite impressive for me since I have never been attracted to anyone either. Let's go get ready for bed and we can play my favorite game before sleep."
She stood up giving him a smile as he followed stopping briefly for shoes and a shirt black v necked with longer sleeves.
Together they set up the sleeping bags side by side and laid down beside each other, his arm almost shyly around her outer waist as she snuggled her back to his chest.
"So what's this game you wanted to play Umi?" His breath brushed against the back of her neck as the Phosphorus ground lit up around them.
"It is a game all the foster kids would play upon meeting for the first time, it's called 'who has the more f@&%ed up childhood ' more often than not I won just with the story of my birth." She chuckled softly remembering some of the other childrens reactions to the story.
"So you're an orphan? I don't remember anything before the age of seven, though from what my master told me, I was found bleeding on the street after my quirk manifested and no one would help me assuming a hero would come for me, no one did.
Master said my family was dead and that he was the only family I needed now. He even gave me my name, I don't remember my original one." He spoke holding Emi close like a teddy bear eyes thoughtful.
Emi listened to his words enjoying his strong arm around her, she focused on the story she was going to tell to try and hide the burning in her belly being so close to this young man, who she felt such a strange connection with.
"Let's see, where to start...I never knew my parents. My mother died before I was born. I was dropped off at the hospital still covered in my mother's blood. They found her a few blocks away, she had been murdered, they think, her abdomen carved out. I only know this story because I read about it when I was young. Her name had been Yuna Lang, a quirkless Japanese orphan, she was only 16..." her words trailed off for a minute, a moment of silence for the girl who never made it to 17.
"According to genetic testing my birth father had been German also apparently quirkless. My first foster family had taken me in for testing at five wanting to know why my quirk hadn't yet manifested. I was put back into the sysyem not much later...so began my life of rejection." She sighed softly turning slightly in his arms resting her head on his chest.
Tomura carefully began running his hand down her back almost possessively.
"Damn shallow bastards, all because you didn't have a stupid quirk? Tsk, if it had been me, I never would've abandoned you." He nuzzled his face into the top of her head, holding her tighter.
She tightened her hold on his shirt knowing the next part of the story would be the hardest to talk about.
"The next part is harder, I never told anyone else about this." She shivered not realizing the tears pricking her eyes would soon fall.
"Hey Umi, are you crying? What happened you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I don't want you to feel pressure in sharing." He held her even tighter concern in his gravel voice.
"You need to know this part if you really want to be with me, it's the most messed up part of my life and goes a long way into explaining why I am the way I am."
She buried her face in his chest feeling his heart beating before she sighed and told the story of the two men who traumatized her with their touch.
"I will personally hunt these monsters down and give them a five finger slap to the face." He growled carefully tilting her head up to look at him.
"I don't even know what happened to Rei, he's probably off living a perfect life somewhere, as for my ex teacher, he got caught with a more willing student and lost his license and job. Because of them I'm not comfortable with most touch. The fact that I am able to lay here with you is huge for me."
She sat up beside him a sad little smile on her face, Tomura sat up beside her carefully brushing away the tears still streaking her face.
"I would never hurt you like them Umi...you know that right?" His voice a soft whisper, he leaned forward his forehead touching hers feeling her slight shiver as she wrapped her arms carefully around his neck.
"My real name is Yuna, I was given my birth mother's name, Emi Umi is my pen name, I changed it to that two and a half years ago. I want to hear you call me Yuna, a weird craving right?" She laughed softly though the sound was thick with still unshed tears.
"Yuna, I like it. My Yuna, I will keep you safe my Yuna." His forehead still pressed against hers.
Yuna turned ever so slightly her lips brushing over his causing him to move back in surprise as they stared at one another.
"Yuna?" His voice barely above a whisper as he carefully cupped her cheeks with his gloved hands. "May I?"
She nodded leaning slightly into his touch a brief shiver coming from her body feeling the hunger for his touch and fighting the fear that also came from touch.
Carefully Tomura leaned forward touching his lips to hers, she could feel the scar on his mouth but otherwise it wasnt bad just dry, a little TLC would help with that. Her arms tightened around his neck as she carefully kissed him back.
Soon his arms wrapped tight around her pulling the small woman into his lap. She moaned into his mouth as her legs slid on either side of his waist. She nearly lost control of her hunger wanting to be closer still feeling his bodies reaction to her closeness.
"Tomura...damn, you do like me don't you, need help with that?" Her voice had gone husky, eyes full of desire running her fingers through his hair gently tugging on his scalp making him growl into her throat.
"Yuna, I have never wanted something so bad before in my life...I don't normally do things like this after only a day of knowing somebody. The things I want to do to you, what would you do if I pushed you against that tree and f@%&ed your brains out?" His voice growled against her throat pulling her even closer.
"Probably kick you in the testicles, I refuse to lose the last of my virginity in a monster infested forest." She chuckled against his shoulder before looking up at him.
"However I am willing to help you out with your problem." Her voice had gone husky again as she pushed her body against his watching him moan at the touch.
With a little fumbling and a lot of moaning the two lonely souls found comfort in each others vigorous exploration. Touching and kissing until the stress from the day was released in almost synchronized shivers of pleasure.
They ended up pressed against each other clinging together in sleep, for the first time in years Yuna didnt dream of her haunted past. Tomura felt utterly relaxed for the first time in years, the warmth of the woman in his arms helping facilitate deep sleep.
He felt the lack of weight on his chest as sunlight woke him, eyes opened to find a forest canopy over him. Had the night before been a dream? He sat up looking around the camp but he found himself alone.
Leaping to his feet he continued to look around, it was early morning still, the sun just over the horizon but where was Yuna?
"Yuna?!" His voice loud enough to echo in the clearing.
"Over here Tomura." Her calm voice called out from the trees to his left.
Quickly he made his way over to the green zone border, there he saw Yuna her shoulder length hair pulled back in a knot held in place with what appeared to be a pencil.
She was vigorously writing in a small notebook studying their map of the game field beside the map sat the patch she had collected the night before.
Silently he sat beside her trying to figure out her thoughts, where had the writing material come from he wondered to himself as if reading his mind she spoke quietly not putting the notepad away.
"Found the writing stuff in the supplies, I've been up since dawn brain wouldn't shut down writing helps calm the anxiety." She glanced at him with a small smile.
"Anxiety about what exactly?" His crimson eyes studied the small woman wanting so badly to pull her into his lap again.
"Partly the next crossing, partly the whole Nomu thing and a question that has yet to be answered.
One of the men who had gone missing was a Canadian national who had come to Japan on vacation, his quirk had been speed. The last thing he was seen wearing was a jacket with a patch on the arm, this patch." She glanced at Tomura who looked away, sensing the next question.
"The Nomu are made from people aren't they." It was less a question and more of a statement.
"I don't know how the process works only that it was a project my master worked on. When he was captured in Kamino ward I was led to believe that all of the Nomu were lost to us. Obviously Kurogiri knew something I didn't. That foggy bastard has a lot to answer for when I see him again." He growled the last words something dangerous coming off his aura which Yuna could almost sense.
She tapped the map distracting him from his anger.
"We have a problem with the next crossing, there is some sort of water hazard between us and the next green zone, how likely do you think there will be Nomu there? I can't even tell how deep it is." She sighed softly resting her forehead against his nearest shoulder making him smile briefly.
"We'll figure it out as we go, I don't know of any swimming Nomu, but there are flying ones so who knows. If only I could get these damn gloves off I could protect you properly." He grumbled.
"Hmm let me see if I can figure it out." Gently Yuna took one of Tomura's hands studying the gloves. She saw the latch and realized it would take two hands so it would have been impossible for the wearer to remove them. Carefully engaging the two release points the cuffs popped off leaving normal artist gloves.
"There you go free as a bird." Quickly she released the second cuff watching it fall to the ground.
Carefully he removed the gloves studying his hands reaching over he grabbed a rock with all five fingers soon it was dust.
"I'm not going to lie as dangerous as your quirk may be it's still pretty cool to watch." She grinned completely unbothered by the freed Tomura.
"You have absolutely no fear do you Yuna?" He glanced at her still smiling at him her shoulder rubbing against his.
"Giant spiders, being trapped in dark tight places, and the unwilling touch of most males. Just not afraid of death. I've faced it too much in my life since I was a kid." She shrugged carefully taking his open hand studying his palm like a fortune teller.
"You are unlike anyone I have ever seen before Yuna, so...did we actually you know do stuff last night or was I just dreaming?" His voice went soft at the question looking at the blush that suffused her cheeks.
"You mean did we fondle each other through our clothing until we both orgasmed before passing out entangled in each other's arms?" She buried her face in his shoulder again a soft giggle escaped her lips.
"So it was real, good, any regrets I mean you could do so much better than a crusty villain like me. I know I'm not the best looking guy in the world, and being with me could be dangerous. You'll never have a normal life..." his words were interrupted by Yuna's mouth crashing against his.
She pulled back stroking his cheek looking directly into his eyes.
"What's so great about normal? Besides, I'm old enough to know what I want. We don't have to live up to anyone else's expectations or put labels on anything. Besides you're not ugly Tomura, a little neglected maybe but a little TLC and self care can change that if you want. I like you just as you are, scars and everything." She pressed her lips against his again allowing him to kiss her back this time.
The hunger from the night before flared up, carefully putting the gloves back on Tomura wrapped his arms around Yuna pulling her onto his lap.
They stayed that way for almost half an hour by the time they were both satisfied the sun was fully up. Yuna was the one to finally pull away kissing his cheek.
"I need to make us food we only have a few hours until the next shift. Come on Tomo, I think I saw some pancake mix I can work with." She grabbed his gloved hand helping haul him up a grin on her face.
"Is there anything you can't do Yuna?" He asked mystified, a thought he had been thinking for a while now.
"I have very little self control when it comes to chocolate and I have terrible Insomnia so I guess sleep?" She grinned with a shrug.
"I also have anxiety and some ptsd from unresolved sexual trauma, so being a social butterfly is out the window. I'm a pretty firm hermit who prefers spending her time alone. So I may have some talents but I think its my attempt to compensate for how f@%&ed up my brain really is." She looked up at him her fingers still wrapped in his.
Tomura just pulled her into his arms holding her tight for a moment. He felt her shiver as she clung to his back face buried in his chest.
"Did I mention I'm pretty self loathing most of the time? You aren't the only one who thinks poorly of themselves Tomo, now let's go get breakfast, please?"
He nodded in agreement letting her go. Breakfast was sweet pancakes with canned strawberries, it tasted amazing, he would have stolen her just for her cooking skills.
The green zone changed and they began walking Yuna held a stun gun in her hand and had two others on her shoulder.
Everything was quiet for several minutes, the trees broke up revealing a river that pooled into a small lake before continuing through the trees.
"Should we see if the river narrows out or maybe has a crossing? This looks pretty deep to me." Yuna looked thoughtful studying the slow flowing deep water.
Following the river away from the lake they found a natural looking bridge of stones. Just as they were about to cross a cry went out and Yuna was suddenly airborne.
She made a small yelp and tried to taze the flying Nomu but couldn't get the right angle so the first shot was wasted. Meanwhile Tomura had grabbed her free arm trying to pull her back down.
An absurd version of tug of war commenced with Yuna in the middle. Finally Tomura got a hold of one of the Nomu's legs with his bare hand causing it to begin decaying and dropping Yuna back into Tomura's arms.
The creature flew away pieces falling off of it from its decaying leg.
"You alright Yuna?" His arm tight around her middle Tomura hugged the shaking woman.
"Yeah, let's get the hell out of here." She shuddered from the adrenaline rush carefully pulling out of his arms testing her legs finding them steady enough to walk.
They got to the third green zone and Yuna collapsed shivering Tomura looked concerned pulling her into his lap rubbing her back. They clung to each other for quite a while not saying anything taking comfort in each other.
"Thank you for saving me Tomo, death by Nomu would have sucked." She nuzzled into his chest the last of her shivers finally disappearing.
"Anything for my Yuna, damn bastards will be turned to ashes if they come near you again. You're mine, no one else can have you." His last possessive words nearly growled making Yuna chuckle softly.
"That possessiveness is definitely a turn on, do it again Tomo." She leaned forward kissing his cheek.
Tomura reacted immediately pulling Yuna flush against him kissing her mouth hungrily. "Only mine."
They went to bed early that night most of their clothing coming off, Yuna was pleased to see the wound finally closing up on his side.
One last dressing of his side before he attacked her to the sleeping bag pile and they exausted each other with vigorous touching and much moaning.
They woke from their nap to darkness, the ground glowing green around them. Looking at the moon Yuna thought it was an hour before midnight.
The two got up making sure they had all the supplies they needed for the next trip, as Yuna checked the map orienting herself to the next path.
Crossing number four was uneventful with no Nomu in sight, the two went back to bed after cuddling together, most of the fourth camp was sleeping and showers. And kissing oh the kissing.
The fifth crossing was also uneventful no Nomu sighted and they made it to the fifth camp safely.
Yuna started the fire making another batch of soup, after their dinner they sat in front of the fire playing twenty questions going for the most random ones they could think of.
Tomura's favorite drink was Dr. Pepper and her favorite jelly bean was cherry.
They both loved rpg style games, and spent almost an hour talking about D&D stories.
Together they watched the second day close out wrapped in a blanket that Yuna had found in the supplies.
"Third day one more crossing, ready to get out of this damn simulation?" She glanced up at Tomura who wrapped his arms tight around her pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"Back to the real world, back to being a villain I guess." He didn't sound so happy about it, almost resigned.
"Do you want to be a villain Tomo?" Glancing up at the man holding her Yuna reached up to stroke his cheek.
"It's what I was raised to be, it's what master wanted for me, he made me see the world as a place deserving of being turned into ashes. You're making me see things in a new light. I don't know how to feel yet." He turned his face into her hand kissing her palm enjoying the touch.
"No one can tell you who or what to be Tomo, you should ask yourself what you want, who you want to be. Screw what the rest of the world says." She had determination in her voice as she turned her face up towards him.
"What do you want with your life Yuna?" He felt genuinely curious about this young womans life goals.
She sighed softly reaching up to play with his hair looking thoughtful.
"My ultimate goal is to change the world for those who have no voice, namely Quirkless people like me. I want the international community to recognize that quirkless people are still human and not useless."
"There are places in the world, where the government tracks all quirkless people, they aren't allowed to marry, or have unauthorized jobs they have to live in government housing and live controlled lives. I was horrified when I learned about places like that, France is one of those countries. I want to be an international advocate, one of the many reasons I learned the languages that I had." There was a determination in her voice as she spoke her dream out loud for the first time.
Tomura felt surprised by her passion, until he realized this was one of the things he enjoyed most about Yuna, her passion despite her difficulties she didn't let the darkness win.
Her determination to make the world a better place sparked something in him, a desire to see her dream come true. He didn't know how yet but he knew he wanted to help her see this dream become reality.
They took a quick nap prepping for the last crossing, wrapped in the blanket and each others arms. Yuna woke them just before midnight getting ready with the last of the stun guns, she had a feeling this crossing wasn't going to be as easy as the last two.
Wouldn't you know it she was right, the three Nomu they had met appeared before them as soon as they left the safe zone. The flyer dive bombed Tomura's head getting stunned to the ground by Yuna while the fast gray one tried scooping the small woman into its clawed arms.
Tomura managed to stun that one with the second gun leaving the big black one who flexed its claws avoiding getting stunned by Yuna.
"Get behind me Yuna, when I tell you, run like hell to the green zone." Tomura growled under his breath taking off the gloves sliding them into his pocket.
"You follow right behind me, you hear Tomo." She muttered back before he rushed the big Nomu yelling for her to run.
Obediently she did so trying hard not to look back she nearly stumbled up the small hill that marked the last camp.
Only once safely in the camp did she collapse heart pounding a mile a minute.
"Tomura I'm here, get your ass back to me." She shouted hoping he could hear her.
Silence met her shout, quickly she stumbled to the edge of the hill but all she saw was a pile of dust blowing in the faint breeze, no Tomura in sight. The mostly full moon making it easy to see down the hill.
Her heart nearly dropped to her shoes as she frantically looked around, suddenly arms wrapped around her from behind holding her tightly.
His raspy voice sounding like velvet in her ears.
"I'm right here Yuna, where I belong, we're safe now."
Yuna turned in his arms and soon their mouths were pressed almost desperately together.
"Shower, now, I want you Tomo." She managed between kisses.
He nodded understandably and picked her up carrying her smaller body to the shower room. There they divested each other of clothing in one of the stalls before Yuna possessively pressed her body to his.
Together they figured it out with much fumbling soon however sounds of pleasure came echoing from the room.
After the almost desperate session they showered together still kissing and touching which caused a second session. Finally they both felt the edge of their mutual desire soften enough to control themselves and even dress.
They collapsed together in the pile of sleeping bags and slept till nearly noon.
Not long afterward a black portal appeared with Kurogiri's voice echoing from it asking them to step through.
Hand in hand Tomura and Yuna stepped out of the game and back to the real world.
Yuna suddenly found herself with a knife to her throat a blonde girl behind her grinning.
"Toga let her go, any harm comes to Yuna and I'll turn you to ash." Tomura warned still holding Yuna's hand.
"But Kurogiri promised that I could cut her and taste her blood. Just a little cut, come on Tomura."
"We had a deal fog man, the gamers survived you were supposed to let me go free." Yuna spoke careful not to move with the knife still to her throat.
"You have seen too much, the world must not find out the truth of this place, masters orders."
"Kurogiri you bastard tell Toga to let her go now or I'll decay you both, Yuna belongs to me and I'll kill everybody else in my path to keep her alive." Tomura growled hand reaching for Toga's body.
A portal appeared in front of his hand and a second one appeared in front of Yuna's face as Tomura nearly touched her.
"Tomo?!" Yuna shouted warily as he managed to pull back just in time.
"Damn you Kurogiri stop trying to kill my lover, she's mine and I won't let her die."
Toga let go of Yuna seeing how determined Tomura was to protect her. She thought it was adorable.
Quickly the quirkless woman was pulled behind Tomura who glared at Kurogiri.
"Now explain why you are doing this, what is this all about Kurogiri, why the game and the Nomu?" Tomura demanded red eyes glaring at his protector.
"Masters orders were clear, if he should be captured you would be given a test to prove that you were ready to take his place. The quirkless was a bonus, to see how you would interact with another person not related to the league. Master would never have anticipated that you would have feelings for the person. This complicates matters." The fog man responded calmly as if he hadn't just tried to kill Yuna.
"I would have died within the first hour if Yuna hadn't been there to save my stupid ass from getting scooped by a Nomu. We have saved each other several times during your damn simulation. You aren't killing her, no matter how f@$&ing complicated it makes things." Tomura growled pulling Yuna against him as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
"She will tell the heroes about this place and the Factory will be shut down." Kurogiri spoke logically.
"I have no intention running to any Heroes, I'm quirkless they aren't really high up on my good boy list. A so called villain has shown me more decency and human kindness than any of these heroes. I'm a reporter I prefer staying out of politics, if the heroes find out what's happening it won't be my fault. And besides if a quirkless nobody like me finds out about the missing people I am sure I won't be the last. You should prepare for that eventuality." Yuna's words were softly spoken and made perfect sense to even Kurogiri's mind.
"Very well you may be permitted to live, Yuna Lang, you have made a valid statement I will have to plan on that eventuality. Do forgive my trying to have you killed I shall refrain from such actions in the future. Come Toga I will take you where you need to go."
Together the two villains left, Yuna relaxed against Tomura relief evident on her face.
"Why do people keep trying to kill me is there a target on my forehead or something?" She mused out loud looking up into Tomura's eyes.
"I don't know but it won't happen on my watch." He cupped her cheeks and kissed her mouth hungrily.
She giggled wrapping her arms around his neck kissing back.
"So you have a place to stay?" She asked after the heated kiss.
"That depends are you offering yours?" He grinned at her nod of sly agreement.
"We can talk more among other things, it's not much but my futon is comfortable and I have plenty of snacks, maybe you can help me choose a game system to add to the place."
"Mmm gaming and a beautiful woman this could be fun, the league isn't planning to meet for another week and a half, we'll see what kind of mischief we can get into until then." He said kissing the top of her head.
"It's a date." She responded with a grin leading him to her apartment.
