There were almost thirty or thirty-five women of different ages gathered in the vast hall of the back side of the General Palace. This hall wasn't at all luxurious or decorated with lavish interiors; rather the interior of that hall was extremely ordinary like the cottages of a middle-class family.

It was shabby and colorless, even the parts of the bricks were visible in some places. It didn't feel like it was part of the Palace territory. Standing in queues and lowering their heads, all the maids in black and white uniforms apologized in chorus, "S-sorry, Mrs. Lui. Please forgive-"
