Chapter 19: Another Diplomatic Visit

Near the Deri Empire

The Soul Reapers are marching towards the Deri Empire, they encounter a convoy of wagons.

Wagon Driver: " Monsters, getaway!"

The Soul Reapers approached the man, asked the man a question.

"What do you think of us? , many of you accepted us with open arms."

The lady next to him spoke on his behalf.

Lady: " Husband was on a battlefield when a Soul Reaper nearly took his life."

Soul Reapers: " What else happened?"

Lady: " Am not sure, but his commander was Baus during the service period."

Soul Reaper:" Thank you for the info."

So the two groups parted ways and the Soul Reapers decided on using return to reach outside the City Gates.

They have arrived at the capital once again.

Morning

Deri Empire

Capital

They saw a lady selling items in front of the city gates.

Soul Reaper: " Hi lady, may I get the name of this place?"

Lady: " This place is called Farina, for we are one for our god."

Soul Reaper to Azuki Tamayo.

"Lord Aliciana Victona, did you get that?"

Aliciana Victona:" Yes, I have heard you, please remember your mission.

So the undead proceeded to the city gates.

Guard: " Our god-given messengers are here, to deliver a message from our god."

So the guards opened the gates and many are happy to see no hostile Soul Reapers.

Soul Reaper: " We would like an audience with the king."

Guard: " We are happy to have you, please follow us."

The guards led them into the castle and they have begun the discussion.

Midmorning

Deri Empire

Farina, Throne room

Soul Reaper: " Our master wishes to do a joint offensive with you, Leonardus."

Leonardus: " What do your master hope to gain, from all of this."

Soul Reaper: " 30% of the Altarum Empire land to make is faction."

Leonardus: " What if, they reject peace and keep on fighting?"

Soul Reaper: " Many will die if he says let loose your might."

Leonardus: " How long until you can join us, to attack them ?"

Soul Reaper: " In two days, cause we are preparing our forces, as we speak."

Leonardus: " That is good to hear."

Soul Reaper: " Gate."

The Soul Reapers left.

Leonardus smiled and got up in a way, that gave an impression.

'Finally, we will end this war or commit genocide and slavery.'

Guard: " What shall we do we join forces with their master?"

Leonardus: " We will attack with them, if the enemy rejects the team, slavery is their faith."

Guard 2: " How about, they fought harder than before, genocide and slavery will be the answer."

Midmorning

10th floor

Azuki saw his Soul Reapers arriving, they requested permission for his presence.

Soul Reapers:" Tamia, may we have an audience with our lord?"

Tamia:" You may."

The door opened and the Soul Reapers approached the throne room.

Soul Reaper: " The king of the of the Deri Empire has agreed to jointly invade the enemy in 2 days."

Aliciana Victona: " I have been watching you with one of my skills, you have done well.'

Soul Reapers: "We are honored, that you trust us so."

Aliciana Victona: " How's the Deri Empire like."

One of the Soul Reaper told him.

Soul Reaper: " We cannot say for sure about the country but its forest, is perfect for ambushing."

Aliciana Victona: " How long has this war, been going on for?"

Soul Reaper: " We do not have a clue about that."

Aliciana:" That is too bad, I was hoping that I would find out more by sending you there."

Azuki Tamayo shouted.

" Tamia, I require your presence."

Tamia entered the throne room and began to speak.

Tamia: " How may I serve you, Lord Aliciana?"

Aliciana Victona:" Tell the Twins Of The Battlefield, to find info on the terrain the country."

Tamia" It will be done."

So she left Azuki Tamayo and messaged her present troops.

" Twins Of The Battlefield, I have an assignment for you."

Twins Of the Battlefield: " How may we server our god?"

Tamia: " Find out what you can on the country's terrain."

Near Midday

Lulu Village

Aliciana Domain

The Twins Of The Battlefield went to Alice's home t find out more about the country.

They walked until they reached her home, they knocked on the door.

No answer.

A man is passing by and told them.

" Alice is at the Lulu river, I will show the way there."

So they followed the man for long while now.

Midday

Lulu River

Near Lulu Village

Man:" There she is, washing with the others."

Twins Of The Battlefield: "Thank you."

One of the twins turned around and gave the man a thank you kiss, on the mouth.

After 2 minutes of that, the man blushed then the two parted ways.

They approached Alice and an old man.

One of the Twins Of The Battlefield asked.

" Who is this man, next to you?"

Alice: "He is my father."

Twin Of The Battlefield:" May I speak with him."

Old man:" Sure."

The old man stopped washing his clothes and followed the lady for a bit.

Twin Of The Battlefield: "How's the terrain from the north, west, and south of here?"

Old man: " The north, is just flat grasslands as far as the eye can see."

Twin Of The Battlefield: " What lies at the end of the other side?"

Old Man: " Just a tiny cliff where the more grassland resides, but it's good for harbor town."

Twin Of The Battlefield: " What about the west?"

Old Man: " There's just forest, great for rebels and defenders alike, while the south is just grassland as you can see from here."

Twins Of The Battlefield: " Thank you."

She messaged Azuki Tamayo.

"Did you get, all of that?"

Aliciana Victona: " Thank you, for not using one of your skills to turn off the master link."

Twin Of The Battlefield: " Don't think much of it, I have to serve you."
