Time passed and a 21 year old Artem sat cross legged on his bed, a week had passed since his 21st birthday and his body had finally stopped growing and he could finally cultivate.
During these few years Artem learnt and considered many many things. Would he still cultivate like he did in the past? Or would he cultivate in accordance to this new world?
In the end, Artem decided to cultivate the ways of this world, learning it. Secret experiments and probings had proven his idea that this was a new realm, away from his past.
His understanding of the Dao could hurt him here, since the laws could differ. Similarities are bound to happen at the surface level, but fundamentally the laws themselves would be different.
Artem of course, hadn't spent the past few years alone. Suiren had accompanied him through these times.
As a female, Suiren finished growing earlier than he had, and so started cultivating earlier. Artem was slightly envious, but it was a great thing that Suiren had done so first.
Artem knew how long it usually took for people to cultivate but seeing it for himself was another thing.
Suiren cultivated quickly, belonging well into the prodigious degree. The people around her showered her with praise and spoiled her rotten, the attention she got was immense.
Artem calmed himself, sitting on the bed he spread his senses and felt the mana in the air.
Compared to his first scan, mana no longer felt as dirty but was instead crowded.
Mana was like a sponge, absorbing all kinds of attributes from their surroundings. Just the mana from his room alone, contained earth, nature, fire, life, light and more.
The way to cultivate in this world was to purify mana and contain it within the body.
Cultivation realms were simple and consisted of the amount of pure mana contained within their core.
Ones contained 1 to 10 mana, while Tens contained 10 to 99 and so on. The highest known one rested within the millions.
Every jump strengthened the body, mana would saturate the vessel increasing their vitality and resilience against mana, allowing it to hold even more.
Artem pulled the mana in the air with his powerful mind, as they entered his body from his skin, his divine body acted like a sieve, with his mind he pushed the mana through.
This was one of many advantages of bloodlines, with it, there was no need to go through arduous exercises to purify the ambient mana.
Very quickly, his body was flooded with pure mana, Artem watched as the mana crowded towards his meridians and smaller veins.
Circulating around his body, the pure mana opened his meridians and flowed towards his abdomen where his dantian used to lie.
The mana gathered into an orb, grinding into each other causing immense heat, which quickly spread across his body.
Mana was now concentrated only in his meridians and core, and after a moment, from the core the mana started to crystalize.
The mana formed into a crystalline core, but it did not stop. The mana connected to the core through the meridians were similarly crystallized and eventually the walls of his meridians were covered in solid mana.
Artem didn't panic throughout this, as he had learn about this before.
It was a rare event, and considered a blessing from mana.
The event reinforced his mana circuits, which were his meridians and his mana core.
It allowed him to contain far more mana than his peers, he could move mana through them far faster without hurting himself too.
Though the crystallization had taken all the mana his body had contained, Artem could easily absorb more mana into him.
However he did not do it yet, and instead started to control the divine energy in his body.
There was a reason why he had waited a week after his birthday to start cultivating.
Artem had realised that his body was passively generating divine energy, it was miniscule and during his growth it was used to temper his body.
Now however, he had finished his growth and the divine energy was no longer actively being used, Artem worked to circulate his divine energy so it wouldn't disperse over the week.
Artem scanned the crystal structure across his body, and finally decided on reinforcing his core.
He didn't have enough divine energy to strengthen the entire circuit, and so the core was the only option.
After making sure, Artem slowly flowed his divine energy into the crystalline walls of his mana core, slowly it saturated the structure.
The process was slow, and Artem would have to keep the walls constantly saturated with divine energy, but it wasn't a task work mentioning with his soul.
When it was done, Artem finally started to bring mana into his core and circuit.
Very slowly, lines across his skin started to light up, a bright blue color.
The color was indicative of the pure mana that now ran through his circuits, his abdomen similarly had a bright blue circle.
Artem very quickly had jumped from no cultivation to a Tens, the mana count in his body stopping around 93.
Artem would have no need to saturate his body with mana until the hundredths, where his mana would count upwards of a hundreds of thousand, his divine body was simply strong enough to hold that much mana.
The only thing slowing his cultivation would be the limitations of the crystalline walls. They would have to be saturated with divine energy, slowly converting them to divine energy crystals before they would reach the same level of toughness as his body.
Artem guessed it would take a few years before his entire circuit and core would be converted, which was already insane.
This was usually not an act that was done consciously, and would only begin when the cultivator had reached a certain bodily strength that their divine energy could naturally saturate their walls.
