6. An Explosion and Continuous Breakthroughs

Emerald Gem Sect

It has officially been a year and six months since Orval has entered the grotto. His comprehension of the knowledge he had gained, was steadily getting faster. He had now almost fully digested all of the information. In about another month he would have fully comprehended it.

During this time Susie had become a core disciple in the sect. She also reached the peak of Core Establishment Realm, making her one of the most powerful members of the sect, only behind the leaders and elders.

Royal Capital Tempest Void City

Iris has now reached the peak of Nascent Soul and mastered her art to perfection. She decided it was time to meet with her father. She left her cavern and went to the throne room. When she arrived she noticed her father was cultivating. The aura was phenomenal, the pressure was overbearing to the point that she was unable to breath. When the emperor noticed her presents he released the pressure and stopped cultivating.

"My dear daughter, I am glad to see you have mastered your art. I will now pass on to you the new art that will allow you to cultivate to at least the Rebirth Realm." said the emperor with a proud smile on his face. He then sent a stream of light into the head of princess Iris.

"Thank you father" stated Iris with a bow. She then vanished to her cavern for cultivation.

Glacier Manor

As Abel cultivated the new power he received, he began to grow stronger. He had long recovered from his previous injuries. Now his qi, which originally had an icy aura, is now filled with an icy, bloody aura. His body is swelling up with power to the point that his body is now twice the size that it was originally.

"Not long and I will break through to the Nascent Soul Realm, and become one of the peak being in this world." Abel said crazily.

He continued to planned to continue to cultivate until the time of the competition, then he would exact his revenge on those bastards.

Emerald Gem Sect

Another month has passed. Abel has now successfully comprehended the knowledge he had gained in the grotto. With this he could tell it was time for him to break through in his realm. With a single thought he vanished from the grotto and appeared again in his cultivation room in the palace.

He sat in the center of the qi suction array and began to cultivate. His energy began to transform and become more and more solid. During this current cultivation he had only now just noticed the changes to his soul from the knowledge. The soul which was originally just a small being has now grown to the point it was the size of a normal person. When one looked at the soul, it was like looking at the night sky, almost as if the soul it self held the entire universe inside it.

While Orval was cultivating he imagined the scene he had seen. In particular he thought about the being and what he was doing to the planet like object. He focused on that when a sudden moment of an epiphany came to him, it was as if time had come to a stop. He only now was able to comprehend exactly what it was that the hooded figure was doing, he was creating life. But the question was how? As time stood still he pondered this question, when like a hit in the back of his head, he heard a whisper say "Infinite Art: Universal God of All Chapter: Life Creation Technique" As he heard this the information began to surge into his head and he began to comprehend the technique.

As he now circulated this new technique his power began to grow. The surroundings began to shake and various phenomena began affecting the everything. Due to the nature of the technique, it even started to affect the grotto of the palace. New life forms and plants started to appear all over the grotto, this caused Burlesque to be alarmed.

Burlesque appeared in the grotto and with a wave of his hand Susie appeared next to him. He tried to understand what was going on, but something profound was blocking his view of the situation, he was also unable to contact his master. He made the decision to take Susie and relocate to the main hall and create a barrier containing the situation.

When they arrived at the main hall he informed the leaders of the situation. They then used the Infinite Celestial Mirror to watch the situation at the palace. Then they saw the phenomena begin seeping out of the palace. The energy continued to grow and expand until it reached the barrier. The barrier began to shake for a moment , before stopping. The energy stopped expanding, but it did begin to solidify, becoming denser and denser as time passed.

"Burlesque, what exactly happened at Orval's Palace?" everyone asked.

"I am not sure. I have already explained everything I know." Burlesque said earnestly. "I believe that master is probably comprehending some very powerful technique and all we can do at this point is wait and believe he will be out soon. For now Susie will live here in the main hall and you can all go about your business as usual. I will keep an eye on the situation."

Inside the Infinite Emerald Palace Orval sat in the meditative state, to him time had come to a complete stop. He was constantly comprehending the laws, rules, and dao of life.

Unknown Location in the Universe

"Well, well , well. Even faster than I remembered it would be." said the God while looking out at the stars. At this point he had finished creating the life on his planet. He was now adding giant rings around the planet. At this point the giant planet has become the size of a small solar system.

Emerald Gem Sect

Its been 5 years since the incident at the palace. Orval has not stepped out and no one has entered the area. During this time the final part of the sect was completed and allowed hundreds of mortals to enter the bordering city of the sect. Everyone that was in the sect 5 years ago has now grown with the lowest level disciple being in the Qi Manifestation Realm. There have been many disciples who have joined the sect over this time but no one was notable like in the past.

Both the Sect Leader and Vice Sect Leaders have broken through to the entry level of Rebirth Realm. Each elder also reached their maximum potential of Nascent Soul. Susie has grown to the 10th level of Extreme Golden Core Realm. Her golden core had fully transformed into a powerful golden sun, along with nine other sun like golden cores floating around it.

Suddenly, the entire sect began to shake and tremble. The source of the issue came from the palace. This alerted everybody, luckily they were all prepared since they have been preparing for any potential issues, they all took shelter in the lobby of the pagoda.

Inside the palace Orval was surrounded by not only the life phenomena, but also two other phenomena. As all the energies gathered inside the barrier it became more and more solid. Now after 5 years the energy is so dense that no more energy could possibly be gathered. Suddenly, Orval opened his eyes, when he did this all the energy in the surroundings was instantly sucked into his Soul. Then his soul began to change, it became more solid and deep, then it began to expand. After his soul expanded to the size of the palace, it began to crack, then it exploded. The explosion created a shock wave that shook not only the sect but also the entire continent, but due to the Infinite Sky Shroud Array around the sect, nobody could see where exactly the issue stemmed from.

After all the dust from the explosion settled, the palace and the barrier around it was destroyed. All that was left was Orval floating in the center completely unscathed. He had successfully broken through not only to Nascent Soul, but also to the peak of Nascent Soul. When he opened his eyes he could see all the laws and rules of everything he looked at. He could see through the very essence of everything. With a thought he was in front of the pagoda.

"Everyone, you may come out of the pagoda it is safe now" Orval said to the people taking shelter in the pagoda.

As everyone walked out they greeted Orval. After everyone left the leaders of the sect, elders, Burlesque, and Susie went with Orval to the main hall.

"Orval please explain to us what exactly happened" Luke asked of his son.

"Of course father. 5 years ago when I entered the pagoda's grotto I gained a massive amount of knowledge. It took a long time to comprehend and due to the amount of energy that was condensed it created a massive explosion when I broke through all the way to the peak of Nascent Soul." Explained Orval.

"Master, with the explosion, the entire area around your palace has no qi anymore. It has become a barren wasteland." informed Burlesque.

"That is not an issue follow me" stated Orval.

Everyone went to the site. And there was indeed no qi in the area. Orval looked at the area and said "Infinite Art: Universal God of All Chapter: Life Creation Technique" and then suddenly the area began to flood with qi. All the original vegetation began to grow back. Then finally the Infinite Emerald Palace began to reappear. Everything was restored to its normal state prior to the explosion.

Everyone had a shocked looked especially Burlesque. He was a very powerful artifact spirit who could even access abilities well above the realm limit of this world and yet even he was unable to create qi out of nothing.

"Now, since there are only about three and a half years until the competition. I recommend we hold a little competition in our sect. The winner of each part being sect leaders, core, inner, and outer, will get an artifact crafted by me to suit them." stated Orval with a smile.
