Prophecy

Somewhere at the true demon territory, Hell, was a man sitting alone in the throne. His long white hair gently cascaded down to his back, however, if one looks closely, they'd notice a few red strands on his hair.

Then, a regal aura exuded from his body.

That person was none other than the true demon king...

As if staring at the deep abyss in front of him, the king opened his mouth to speak. His melodious yet cold voice rang throughout the room.

"I see... There are three main candidates of becoming the demon king, no?"

Squinting his eyes, the true demon king continued, and stared at the white orb in front of him.

"Come to think of it... Should I just train this girl...? To give her my position as the demon king? I don't think these demons would care as long as their king is strong."

That was how simple some true demons were compared to humans or to the other races. Although there's an intelligence on their territory, in the end they would be willing to serve as long as their king was strong.

"...or should I just go for the mysterious boy, Arthur?"

"But, although he has the charisma to attract even gods, not to mention, one of the ⬛, he was kind of... twisted. It's like there's a 2 person residing inside his body.

Even though he was sitting at the throne alone, without even a single light coming from the outside, he was in fact, looking at the world with bare eyes. The true demon king was this overpowered that he could see what someone was doing even though he was in Hell... outside of the worlds dimension.

"No. He is not a good candidate either. Looking at what he is currently doing, he isn't suited to become my replacement. If he were to become the king, the world will be most likely become much more boring and chaotic than it is now...But."

Smiling, he lifted up his arm and suddenly, a white orb appeared. Inside it was a picture of a small child that seemed to move as if it was a projection of a movie.

"Hahaha... How could I even forget about you."

Lightly laughing, the king covered the half of his face using his right hand, and continued to stare at the orb.

Suddenly, as if noticing his presence, the boy stared up on the sky... No, it was in fact looking directly at the king.

For a moment, the true demon king shivered in fear when the child continued to stare at him, almost directly at his soul.

This feeling... This was the first time he felt being threatened. Even though the child wasn't in front of him, just his gaze was enough to make the king shivered.

"Haa...haa...haa..."

Panting heavily, the king let out a sadistic smile like he was enjoying the new feeling he suddenly felt at this moment.

"To make the the true demon king shivered, I, who defeated the god of thunder, war, and the summoned heroes who had showed up to kill me, felt this scared to a mere child? Hahaha!"

Laughing to himself, the king once again opened his mouth to speak.

"No matter. Even if one of them was chosen to become the true demon king, the world would still be heading to it's utter destruction. But still... I want to see how the three would grow. More importantly, to that boy."

Saying that, the king's expression turned serious, as he began muttering some unidentified language to this world.

[π•¶|=^\⬛/^=|₱•π]

Then, after saying that, the unidentified language he said turned into a sentence that appeared in a rectangular blue box just above him.

[ In a mere promise.

The light will become darkness and the darkness will become light.

Chasing the person from the shadow, changing the world with 🔳.

The boy will awaken his chaotic self, so the girl could awaken her greatest dream.

Opposition of promise will once again break the ⬜ of one another. On the twentieth of the sun and moon will reborn. The blood will be the gate of chaos, the ⬛ will be the step of choice.

The question will be answered with another question. And the broken ⬜ will once again become a mere story of another person. ]

"Hahaha. It is still too early but, I guess it's time for the world to know it's future."

...

Somewhere inside the human territory, was a man dashing towards the huge building on the city.

After reaching the building, the man acted calmly when reached the main hall where some important people started talking about what had happened.

"This is bad! Grand priest, what should we do now?"

One of the nobleman spoke up.

"Why did these information suddenly became public in the first place? This was supposed to be the top secret of each races."

"We don't know, for now. But due to this information becoming public, it'll probably cause a problem... a lot of major problem in the future."

What they talking about was the sudden appearance of the prophecy, which caused the whole world into panic.

Opening his mouth, the grand priest finally decided to spoke up making everybody on the room to calm down.

"The one who caused the sudden prophecy's appearance was probably the true demon king."

"What is he-"

"Why would-"

"Does he even-"

Before they could finish their sentence, the grand priest cut them off by saying, "We don't know the reason for why he did that, but. Because of this becoming public, the global panic will probably increase more as the people of each race will become more weary to each other."

"If his plan was to cause global panic among the races then he successfully succeeded it."

Sighing internally, the grand priest looked up and pinched the middle of his brows in contemplated.

'Seems like he is already on the move...'

"Huu..."

Condensing mana to my hands, dark particles began gathering, forming into a ball that I slowly aimed at the trees in front of me.

[Dark Bul-]

Right where I was about to finish my chanting, a rectangular blue box appeared before my eyes, making me loose my focus, and causing the dark ball to explode.

Thankfully, I wasn't able to finish my chant before I lost my focus because if I do, my light scratches might've turned into injuries

"Cough, cough... What happened?"

Waving my hands to clear the smoke that the dark ball has released, I began to slowly open my eyes to see what was the "thing" appeared in front of me.

"Haaa!!"

....

-A month later...

Staring at the screen just right in front of me for a couple of seconds, I began fidgeting my finger onto the table, as my brows began to furrowed.

"No matter how much I think about this, I can't understand why this prophecy appeared in the first place. Wasn't this information supposed to be revealed in the future...? But, wait. Why is it different from the novel."

Based on the novel, the prophecy was supposed to be revealed by the true demon king after Arthur unsealed his fifth sealed memory.

There are about 100 memories Arthur will have to unseal. The final arc, where Arthur and his companions will battle against the true demon king, his unsealed memories was still about 32 percent...

Now, then. Back to the main topic, because of this information becoming public, this caused the whole races to panic for a couple years before finally calming down.

So, for this information becoming public must've mean that the story was accelerating faster than the original.

But why...? It would've still be fine if the story accelerated because I'm already prepared if that ever happens... But for the prophecy to change? No matter how much preparation I do, the story will change into a new direction.

Worse case scenario, the possibility of the protagonist defeating the true demon lord might turn into 3 percent.

"Haa... First, the main heroine... Next, the antagonist... Now, the prophecy? Can I just die already and move on to my next life? This is making my head hurt."

Facepalming myself inwardly, I tried my best not to lose my composure. Though, it didn't last long for me to break.

"Aaah! Just why?!"

I walked towards one of the table, and kicked it from the side. Honestly, I would've wanted to do it again if it wasn't for the fact that after my feet came into touch to it's corner, I felt that my foot was about to fall off.

"Oww..."

Unlucky, I say...

This can't get more worse--who am I kidding? This is probably the worse case I've ever been. The problem right now just broke through my record of being "the worse case to be put it".

Now that the problem was already created, I should just go with the flow to where the scenario of the novel will take me.

Still...

As my thoughts overcame me, I suddenly heard a soft voice of a girl around the corner.

"You seemed to be having fun. Well, then. Do you want to spar, Athan?"

It was none other than Cossette.

"Sis...ter."
