Aspirant Academy 1

*Snip! Snip! Snip!*

After I finished cutting my hair short, I immediately went to the bathroom to wash and remove the hair left from my body.

Shiiiiii-

Taking a step forward to the shower and turning on the shower by halve, water soon dropping towards my body.

Taking a shampoo that was resting to the right side of the shower room, I began washing my hair.

After I finished, I took the towel on the right side that was hanging in the room.

Tying the towel onto my waist, droplets of water trickled down to my fairly young body, as I soon exited the shower.

Walking out of the bathroom, I truffled my hair using the towel beside the mirror and soon changed on comfortable clothes.

"Today's the day..." I said to myself.

Placing my fingers to my cheeks, I began practicing my outward smile while looking at the mirror. But the moment I did this, I saw that my face changed into something scary.

".... I really can't smile with this face."

Since the original Athan from the novel is a villain, I should have guessed that this may happen. Although without a doubt that Athan was handsome, it can't still cover the fact that he look like a bad boy type of person.

Sighing, I took the bag that was placed from my bed, and left the room, while back to my usual stern-looking face.

While I was on my way to the castle's entrance, I came across William, who was also packed with huge bags that could probably fill a whole medium-sized room, carried by his maids left and right.

With my eyes closed, I spoke, "What's with you? Do you plan on bringing every things you owned to the Academy?"

"What?" William tilted his head in confusion. "Is there perhaps something wrong with what I'm bringing to the Academy?"

"Well, yes... Who in the world would bring everything they owned to some place their heading to for just a couple of years? Are you perhaps moving out?.... I mean, although you're moving out, can't you just pack the things that are more important?"

"I see..." Gesturing his hands, the maids beside him looked at each other before nodding they're heads in unison, then leaving only one maid to his side.

Once I saw this, I couldn't help but give him a dumbfounded look. "I kinda feel bad for the maids who worked hard packing your things, sigh...."

With a bright smile, William pulled me over my clothes, as we head out to the castle's entrance. "C'mon! Hurry up, let's go!!" He said excitedly.

Sighing, I looked at him, then smiled faintly. "Yeah..."

...

"Are you both ready to head-out?" King Adam asked with a smile.

Immediately after that, William and I nodded our head in unison, saying, "Yes!"

Soon after he heard our reply, he patted our shoulders, before ordering the butler on his left to give the two of us a bag full of gold coins.

"Make sure to spend it wisely, William. And also, please don't cause chaos at the Academy, Athan. You don't wanna make your mother.... She's a bit too scary to be honest." Saying that, he looked down as if he suddenly remembered some of his past nightmares when he was with my mother.

"Anyways, if something ever bad happen, just make sure that your emotions won't get the best of you."

".... I'll keep that in mind." I replied.

After bowing my head shallowly, the two of us went inside the carriage. Then, soon it started moving not long after we took a sit.

Emotions.... While muttering that words to myself inwardly, I suddenly remembered about what happened when I was at the forest alone.

"I'll make sure to keep that in mind..."

Somewhere within the Aspirant Academy, a blonde elf woman, who has the looks of her her mid-thirties, raised a wine that was on the table.

"Principal, about the report I gave you, there seems to be two late examinees that will show up today. The first one is the Prince Of The Imperial Kingdom, and the other one.... is said to be their King's disciple."

"Hmm.... I see. Well then, can you guide them them to my office after they reached the Academy?"

"Yes. Well then, I'll be taking my leave now, Principal." Saying that, the receptionist turned back, and left the room, silently.

After taking a small sip from her wine, she began recalling everything that happened between her and Aamon in their journey.

....

.....

...

"Hey Aamon! Would you please tell me everything that happened to you this past few years after you left? Also, before that, care to explain anything about your wife and son?!"

The Principal-Evangeline raised her voice, as if she was angry at Aamon about something he couldn't properly understand.

With his eyes fixed towards the fields of Lycoris Radiata, he replied to her questions, weakly. "What about them?"

"What about them? How could you not say anything about them to us?! I mean..."

"I mean what?" Aamon tilted his head in confusion. Seeing this, Evangeline grew more annoyed than before.

"How the hell could you be so dense!?" She smacked Aamon's head hard using the wand from her pocket.

While rubbing his head, he looked at Eva with an annoyed expression. "What's with you all of the sudden!? It hurts you know?"

After seeing his attitude, she once again smacked his head using the same wand she used earlier. But this time, Aamon successfully shielded his head using the stick he used as support when walking.

A few minutes later, Aamon opened his mouth to speak.

"Well then, I'll begin my story after I met him.... The man who was called 'End'."

And so, Aamon began telling everything that happened to him a few years ago to Eva. He didn't dare to say any lies, as every words he spoke was all mere truth.

After a few a hours of explanation, Eva stared at him with serious and confusion look. She just experienced amalgam of emotions.

Folding her arms, Eva then spoke up. "So you're saying that the man called 'End' from the future came back to the past, informed you about the possible future of your son, and gave you a mission to change your son's future?"

"Well, if you put it that way, then yes." He nodded his head as an agreement to her words. "He also said something about Athan killing and taking the powers of all the entities that was supposed to be guarding the existence of all the multiverse exist, while aiming to obtain the 'Absolute Power' of all, the ⬛."

After a few moments of silence, Eva let out a fake cough to remove the awkward silence. ".... That future is messed up."

"I know." Aamon sighed.

And so, they continued they're journey while talking to each other frequently when given a chance.

After a few days later, they finally reached their first destination.... The Hell's Gate.

...

.....

....

"I wonder if he finally met his son after he got back." Evangeline thought to herself. "That bastard.... Why can't he even understand someone's feelings?"

It has been three years since she talked to Aamon about his son and wife.... And also, about his mission.

"Haaa.... I kinda feel bad for Celis, who had been trying to express her feelings for him after he saved her when she was kidnapped." She sighed while thinking about Celestia.

Knock! Knock!

While thinking about something, someone suddenly knocked at the door loudly, as she heard the same feminine voice of the receptionist from earlier spoke up.

"Principal, may we come in now, please?"

"Uh... Yes!" The blonde Principal replied, as she began tidying her clothes properly.

"It seems like they've finally arri--!!?"

Shiiiii-

Before the Principal could even finish her last sentence, cold chills began running down to her spines, as she immediately raised her wand towards the door.

After the door was fully opened, she saw the prince, the receptionists and a boy.... covered in darkness, staring at her directly with it's bright white eyes.

With a wide grin, the boy who was covered in darkness tilted his head, as he continued to stare at her like it was looking directly to her soul.

The moment she saw this, she readied her spell, and aimed it towards the boy before raising her voice.

"Who are you!?"

But....

The monster only replied.

"That mere plaything won't work on me, Principal."
