Two months had passed since after the dungeon exploration. To say the least, nothing interesting happened these days. And so far, only the classes in the academy almost took up all of my remaining my time.

Anyway.

Random student A - "Hey... Isn't that the person who was ranked as 1st in every test and the evaluations?"

Random student B - "...Yeah. Look at him with his cheeky grin."

Staring at the overall ranking after combining the grades of the professors' evaluation and the integrated exam, I looked at it with a look of content.

Naturally, I ignored the ranking numbers below me because I didn't want to waste any of my time to look at the ranking of other people since I'm already sure that they'll never be able to get past me. Fuhahah!

You call me arrogant, but... so what?

The only reason why they score lower than me is because that's all they can get. And, I always get 100% in test because that's all there is to get.

While wearing a cheeky grin in my face, I turned my head to look at the other direction before walking with my hands inside my pocket.

"Let just go back to my room for now..."

As I was just about to walk further, I suddenly felt a strong headache that made me grasp my hand to the wall for support.

Kill them!

Shed their bones apart from their body!

When I heard this voices inside my head, I promptly ran towards the nearby window, opened them and hopped down.

"Hupp!"

After my foot landed safely to the ground, I took out my katana and called out to Deus. "Deus, wake up! The voices is coming back again." Saying this, I shook the sword awake.

But, unsurprisingly, Deus didn't immediately gave me a respond and was silent for a few moments, so I once again spoke.

"Okay, fine! I will never put you inside the [Pocket Ring] ever again. Are you happy?"

Hearing this, the katana brightly light up as I felt that my consciousness was slowly fading. Soon enough, I closed my eyes and let Deus handled the rest.

Somewhere in an unknown location...

"Che! Although this woman is beautiful, after tasting her in bed, I've come to a conclusion that she's the worse girl I've ever tasted."

A bandit who was full of scars in his face, kicked the expressionless girl in the abdomen that it made her lay turn to face the other bandits.

"Are you serious, boss? If you don't want her, why don't you just gave her to us?" With a perverted grin, the bandit licked his lips as he waited for his leader to answer.

After a few moment of silent, the scarred bandit turned around while saying, "Do as you please. Just make sure that she'll still be sellable in the market... Also, you can include her sister. That girl hasn't been touched yet. And just be careful not to break her even more because she watched me and her sister all night."

After that, the scarred face bandit went inside.

When the bandit heard this, they immediately rushed forward towards the two, who was both laying on the ground, as they took their pants off after reaching them.

As they were about to take off their underwear, they felt that it was as if the space around them had distorted as the mana around them became violent.

*Creaaaak-!*

Turning their head to the direction of the creaking sound, they saw a boy, who seemed to be twelve while wearing a one-horned fox mask, come out of a scraped-open space portal while holding two swords in his hands.

"Truly, how could humans be this disgusting...?"

The boy spoke as he walked out of the portal, slowly raising the right sword and pointing it towards the bandits.

"A hundred in total, huh... That won't matter since all of you can just die."

"Who are y--?!" Before the bandit who was holding the girl's arm could continue, he saw that the world was spinning... No. He hadn't noticed that his head was already cut off.

The boy who was just in front of them suddenly appeared on their back.

"I didn't gave you permission to talk, you puny humans." Slashing his sword to remove the bloods that was covering the blade, he once again disappeared as five of the bandit in front of him earlier had their heads flew in the sky.

"Thou shall see hell, filthy vermin."

Saying this, the boy threw his left sword towards bandits, that ended up killing five at the same time because the sword was sharp enough through their heads cleanly.

Because of this, all of the bandit raised their guards up and prepared each of their stances, cautiously waiting for the boy to attack.

Suddenly, the boy had once again disappeared into thin air as ten of the bandits on his left fell lifeless on the ground with their throats that had been cut cleanly.

The bandit who saw him reappeared a meter away from his side, raised his sword, preparing to cut the boy in half.

But...

As his sword entered the boy's body, it went pass right through him.

"Your filthy sword will never be able to touch even an inch of my body."

When the man heard this, his whole body tensed up as he felt something sharp entered his body, piercing his heart out.

*Splurt-!*

After the boy's katana was removed, the man fell on his knees.

"How...?" Saying this, he died face flat on the ground. This only made the bandit's fear grew as the boy in front them looked at them as if they were just about to be hunted like animals.

"Who's the next person to be sent to hell?"

Seeing that everything they do was worthless, the bandits made a choice to escape. But before they could even ran, they all fell on the ground at the same time.

It was then they've all noticed...

Both of their legs had been cut off.

"Thou shall never escape your death!"

At the same time, the girl who had been unconscious since earlier turned her head towards his blank, expressionless sister.

When she saw her, the girl bit her lower lips as she forcefully crawled towards her with her weakened body.

"Sis...ter..."

After her hands came into touch with her sister's, she fainted due to exhaustion.

As the massacre continued, the bandit leader, who had been sitting in his desk with his foot placed up on the table, suddenly heard a few screams outside his tent.

With a deep sigh, he said to himself, "They sure really enjoyed those two. Well, I'll let them off the hook only for today."

He was about to close his eyes to sleep when suddenly, the upper part of the tent he was in had suddenly been cut in half.

"...Huh?"

What he saw next made his whole body shivered up in fear.

A boy holding two swords in his hands was looking at him coldly at the entrance.

"Knock knock, you dying fuck!"

When he heard this, he immediately forced his body to turn around in time to run away from 'this' demonic child.

With his body covered in black cloak and the black sword he was holding in his hands, he looked as if someone who was sent from hell to take his soul.

He didn't know why, but after looking at the scene behind the boy, the only thing that his mind could process is to run away.

"Hey hey! Where the hell are you going?" Saying this, the boy slashed his sword down fast, that it managed to create an invisible air that cut the man's foot.

"...Eh?"

By the time the man realized it, it wad already too late. His balance had been disrupted that it made him fall to his knees.

"Did I tell you to move?"

Lifting the man's head up using his hair, the boy stared coldly at him as he pointed his sword towards the bandit's neck.

"Forgive--" Before he cold even continue, the boy cut him short by putting the tip of his katana inside the bandit leader's mouth.

"Forgiveness is between you and god, it's my job to set you an appointment." Saying this, the boy pushed his katana through that it penetrated the man's mouth.

*Splurt-!*

Of course, even though there was already a huge hole in the bandit's neck, the boy didn't let it end there as he immediately pulled his katana out and immediately chugged a healing potion into the man's mouth.

"Hel--!!"

He tried to ask for help, but failed because there was a bottle covering his mouth and besides that, all of his men were already dead.

After emptying the whole bottle, the boy threw it aside and kicked the man in the face as he took out a big rod and heated it up using the fire beside them.

"You filth shall experience what that girl must've felt when your disgusting small 'stick' went inside her?"

Almost immediately after the boy said this, he thrusted the hot rod he was holding inside the man's hole and continiously pulled it all out before putting it in.

"GAAAHHHH!!!!"

While the man let out a torturous and agonizing scream, the boy just smiled sinisterly and increased his pace.

With each push, blood starts pouring out from the man's mouth and his hole.

From anyone's point-of-view, although the boy may seemed like the evil person here, he was only doing what's necessary to punish the man from his wrongdoings.

Anyways...

This hellish torture managed to last an hour because everytime the bandit leader was about to pass out, the boy will immediately pour a rejuvenating potion in the hot rod, so that everytime he pushed it in, it will regenerate the poor man's inside.

Satisfied, the boy let go of the rod as the man fell flat on his face, and walked a few meters away before taking a stance.

"I'll finish this."

Then, raising his leg up, the boy threw an axe kick and hit the rod hard that it penetrated through the man's inside and went to reach his mouth.

"That looks disgusting..." As he said this, he turned around and walked towards the two girls that was holding hands.

While looking at the eldest girl with pitiful eyes, after reaching them, he crouched down before saying, "Do you want to die?"

The girl who heard this, slowly lifted her head up and looked at the boy with a blank expression before nodding.

"Yes..." Although faint, the boy heard this loud and clear as he patted the girl in the head.

With a soothing tone and a pensive expression, he whispered to the girl's ear saying, "Okay. I'll make sure that your sister won't be able to see what will happen here, and kill you the most painless way as possible."

Slowly, the back of boy's left hand, Stigma, glow brightly as it released a warm yet soothing sensation on the girl's head.

When the girl heard this, she nodded and smiled at the boy faintly before letting herself fall asleep.

"Thank you" was the last thing she could muster up before falling unconscious.

"...."

Without saying anything, the boy bit his lower lips until he tasted a slight metallic taste in his mouth.

*Sigh....*

Letting out a deep sigh, he turned his head towards the little sister of the girl he was about to kill and placed his cloak to cover her eyes if ever she wakes up.

Slowly, he raised the girl's arm up as he opened his mouth.

"Thanks for the food."

While eating the chips I bought from the canteen, I couldn't help but muttered, "Hmm... I never thought that canteen snacks can be this good in this place even though it was cheap."

Since I always go outside the academy when I'm buying foods, I have never once thought of buying food from the cafeteria... Of course, that's only until now since I was too lazy to go outside.

"Hmm... I guess I should try eating something that I didn't cook for a while." Saying this, I once again took a chips and ate it wholeheartedly.

*Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! 𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬!*

"Huh?"

I stopped myself from eating after my teeth had bit onto something hard inside my mouth before spitting it out.

𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘦...? I thought as I knelt down and picked the small piece of bone that I spit out, looking closer to it.

"Hey... Deus. Did you eat something using my body yesterday without saying anything to me?" When I asked this, Deus didn't immediately gave me a reply.

"Now that I thought about it, just this morning, I feel like my jaw was about to fall off. Not to mention, something taste weird..."

Seeing that the sword won't give me a reply, my suspicion about what happened yesterday grew. I don't know if it's just me, but Deus seems kinda sus today.

Well, not just today actually.

Ever since I woke up after the dungeon exploration, I keep on hearing voices in head. And, everytime Deus take over my body to relieve my intent to kill, whenever I woke up, the first thing I notice was that my taste was weird.

Also, I always ask him about this, but he won't even give me a reply!

Though I'm a bit annoyed by this, I managed to keep it on myself and just continue on finding some clues about my suspicion.

The more I think about it, the more I get confused. I already thought about him eating humans, but... whenever this question pops out, Deus will just reply.

After walking around the hallway for awhile, I suddenly saw a familiar face up ahead.

"Isn't that Lumine...?" Muttering this, I placed my hand inside my pocket before walking towards her direction.

Lumine must've noticed my presence as she turned her head towards me. "...What?" She crossed her arms on her chest after seeing me walk forward to her.

"Nothing." I shook my shoulders as I continued. "Where's Arthur anyway? Did he perhaps went out?" Although I already know where he is, I still decided to ask her to turn it as our main topic.

Pondering, Lumine shook her head and looked at me. "I don't know. But, yes, he went out to get something earlier." She said, slightly flustered because of my question.

"Ah... I see."

Soon enough, after I reached her, Lumine continued walking with me behind her.

"Oh, right! I almost forgot. Thanks for saving us back there. If it weren't for you, we would have died." She said with a smile without looking at my expression.

"Did I really saved you guys?" I raised my right brow with a questioning look.

When she heard me say this, Lumine stopped walking and gave me a back glance with a cold expression.

"I said thank you for saving us."

𝘏𝘦𝘺... 𝘐 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘮𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬!

Hearing this, even with just her cold gaze was enough to give me chills in my spines. Thus, after swallowing my saliva, I scratched the back of my head saying.

"Yes, ma'am." I spoke in the politest way as possible. Well, I already have a trauma with her beating the shit out of me, and I don't want to add more.

While I was locked in unnecessary thoughts, Lumine suddenly looked around at our surroundings. "All clear..." Muttering this, she turned around and looked at me before raising her hands to wave goodbye. "I better get going now."

She faced the other direction and slowly continued walking.

Before she could even get away, I pulled her hands before saying, "If you want to thank me, can you give me your number?" Pulling out an artifact, that works similar like a phone, I grinned.

Although I already know their phone numbers, I asked anyway so that I won't get any suspicion if ever I decided to call them.

"Huh?" She gave me a disgusted look. "Though I wanted to thank you, I will not just give my phone number to anyone else... except--"

Before she could even finish her last sentence, I scrolled down the screen of my phone and stopped after reaching Arthur's number.

"If you give me your phone number, I'll exchange it with Arthur's number. Do we have a deal?" I smirked. Sorry Arthur, I have to sell you out for a bit... Well, it's not like you'll know it anyway.

Lumine opened and closed her mouth a couple of times before letting out a deep sigh. "You bastard, how did you get his number?"

𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯...? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘭! Even though I want to say this out loud, I didn't want to risk it and kept my mouth shut.

"Nothing special. I just managed to take a glimpse at his phone when he was scrolling around his contacts." I raised my hands and shook my shoulders arrogantly.

Gritting her teeth, Lumine clicked her tongue and raised her phone with her number on it. "...Make it quick." With her face red in anger, she forcefully swallowed her pride to get what she wants.

After exchanging contacts, we separated. She went to the left, which was supposed to be the direction to the girl's dorm, while I went to the right.

Anyways, that's pretty much covers everything that happened for now.

After I reached my room, I took a quick shower before going to bed. Slowly closing my eyes, I turned my head to the right where Deus was resting.

"Tomorrow would be the real start."
