"As I was saying, what do you think is the best way to handle the guild without the Guild Master right now? Do you have any suggestions?"

"....."

While walking the girl called out for the boy's name to see if he was listening to what she just said earlier.

"โฌ›?"

Hearing her call out his name, โฌ› couldn't help but take a glance at the girl's direction. "...what?" He asked, seemingly not interested about what was happening.

"You've been staring in the blank space for quite a while now. Is something the matter?" She asked, worried about the boy who remained staring in front of him indifferently.

"....."

Without answering her question, โฌ› fastened his pace on walking, ignoring the girl on his side.

Few years later.

"โฌ›... Sorry."

Saying this, the girl finally let out her last breath as she closed her eyes.

"....."

Looking at the torn apart body of the girl he long cherished for god knows how long, the man couldn't help but breathe out a long sigh of contempt.

"Fucking hell... I guess I have to do everything again."

Taking the knife beside the table, the boy didn't waste any more of time and stabbed his throat with it.

After slowly closing his eyes, just like that, he let his consciousness fade.

And just then...

[Do You Want To Restart?]

[Yes/Nฬถoฬถ]

Opening his eyes again, he saw a transparent blue-colored system-like screen, that appeared to be the same size of a normal tablet, emerge in front of his face.

While remaining in complete silence, the man turned his attention aside as he looked at the other broken screen floating beside him.

[ Death Counts : !!ยกยกUNKNOWNยกยก!! ]

It had cracks as the light it was releasing was faint. To some people, anyone who saw this may notice that it was already too old because the screen keeps on flickering light as if it was about to lose it's battery.

Seeing this, he couldn't help but once again heaved a long deep sigh in a bitter mood.

"... Someone, please help me."

"Are you really going?" Chloe looked at my mother with a saddened expression. From the looks of it, she looked like she was actually gonna miss her because of this.

"Yes. I still have many things to do, you see. Your brother and Alicia will be with you to keep you company anyway, so there's no need to be sad about this. I promise that I'll be back after the festival."

Puffing her lips, Chloe glanced briefly at my direction before rolling her eyes and returning her attention back to Celestia.

"Humph!"

"....." I didn't say anything and pondered for a moment about the possible reason for her to be like this. It was then I finally remembered the time when I lied to her that I would only be gone for a month.

I thought, looking at my sister's back dejected.

"No worries. I'm not like your brother." My mother spoke. Does she really have to say that? I'm still here, goodness...

Heaving out a deep sigh in contempt, I shook my head tiredly.

Their conversation lasted for less than twenty minutes. After they were done, my mother went towards my direction.

"Hey, I have a quick question..." My mother went to my side and nudged me on the shoulder lightly, and said, "Did you already experienced having..." She whispered in my ear. "With your girlfriend back in your previous life?"

Hearing this, my lips twitched. "Can't you ask for something else!?" Although I raised my voice slightly, it wasn't loud enough for other people to hear.

"No," Celestia said bluntly as she crossed her arms. "If you didn't, I might ask some of my friends to call their daughters when you turn 18. Of course, I will make sure that I'll only include beauties that was on par with Alicia." She chuckled, waiting for my reply.

Since I already know that reasoning with her is pointless, I just gave up by rolling my eyes and saying, "Suit yourself."

She was about to say something after hearing what I said when Adam's head suddenly came out of the carriage's window and called out for her.

"We're leaving," He said, ignoring my mother's intense gaze as he went back inside the carriage.

Seeing that what she was doing is meaningless, Celestia gave up and walked towards the carriage.

"See you."

Saying goodbye for the last time, she patted my head before entering the carriage where Adam was.

"Hiyaa!"

Then, the horses began to move.

"I should probably get back," I said to myself, turning around to leave.

Soon after their carriage started moving, I heard an agonizing scream inside the carriage where Adam and my mother was in.

"I'm sorry-Argh!!!!"

Though, I briefly ignored this and went back to the academy with my sister on my side, and dropped her off to Alicia's room.

After that, the day continued like normally without anything noteworthy and disturbance.

Several days later.

As the class went on, while I was silently sitting at the back and staring at the chirping birds in the tree, I felt small incoming chalk heading towards my forehead.

With a sigh, I caught this and threw them back to where it came from, managing to hit the professor in the forehead.

"You!" Angered, the professor raised his stick towards me. "Can you listen to what I'm saying here?" He asked with an annoyed tone.

Blinking a couple of times, I rested my chin onto my palm in the table and said, "Depends." With a smirk.

Hearing this, the stick he was holding broke.

"Explain this." He picked up the chalk on the floor and wrote something on the blackboard.

Taking a glance at the problem written in the blackboard, I stretched my shoulder, stood up and started my brief explanation.

When I was done, I sat back down and returned my attention back to the birds on the trees.

"What the hell did you just say? You didn't even explained anything written in here!"

Without sparing him a glance, I once again spoke, "Children say what they hear; adults say what they know, but legends make their answer, and etcetera." As I said this, I rested my back on the chair and stared at the ceiling out of boredom.

Although I knew the answer, I decided to go and mess with this professor because I was feeling a little bit bored.

The professor remained silent for a moment, then asked, "And what do you mean by etcetera?"

"End of thinking capacity." I answered.

"...That is the single thing that was useful that came out of your mouth."

"Well, thank you?"

"Tsk!" Clicking his tongue, the professor shook his head feeling defeated before returning his attention to the other students and continuing back to his teaching.

As I was about to close my eyes to sleep, I suddenly remembered something.

"Hey, teach! Can I go to the bathroom?" I asked the professor for permission, as I stood up from my seat.

"I don't know, can you?" He asked, seemingly as if he figured out a way to embarrass me from class.

While remaining speechless for a moment, I sighed. "When I was using 'can' I was using it as a secondary modern form as a verbal modifier for permission, as opposed to expressing ability. I thought you would know this since you were a teacher." I said this in the most complicated, yet more explainable as possible.

"....."

Speechless, his eyes twitched and glared at my direction. "Listen here, you piece of sh--"

After several minutes of arguing, I escaped with the help of my dark magic by creating a version of me as the real me escaped.

As I was walking around the hallway, I noticed two unfamiliar girls, accompanied by the principal herself, walking towards my direction.

When the principal noticed me at the distance, she greeted me by jerking her head, smiling in my direction.

"You do know that class time isn't over yet Athan, didn't you?" The principal made a forced smile, and I didn't made an eye contact with her as I continued walking.

"....." I didn't say something else, because I knew that it would only cause me more trouble.

After we finally went passed of each other, I breathe out a sigh of relief.

Turning back for the last time, I shook my head and continued walking. "I feel like I've seen those two before..."
