I made this for those people who had reached the latest chapter, yet couldn't properly understand the plot.
I decided to turn this into a short summary, in an easy way for you guys to understand, since some part of it is complicated.
Basically, 1-148 chapters is about the 1st world line. It slowly explained all the important characters, including MC and let us divert through the memories of "True Athan".
There are three Athans.
True Athan = our main antagonist. He was the one who created the other two version of himself. His personality is very manipulative, a genius among the real geniuses who played a game of chess with other Beings just because he was bored. After defeating them, he suggested to play again; but this time, instead of becoming a player, who move the pieces from the board, they would instead become the piece, who would move in their own according. His piece is "King".
Athan (EGO) = A fragment of True Athan that existed the moment he was born. Anyways, his piece in True Athan's board is "Queen".
Athan(Past) - Vallen(Future) = He is our MC. In the 2nd world line, as Vallen, he often wear a mask, facade to hide his real self. He acts dumb and playful at times; but, in serious situation, he would often shows some similarities to True Athan. Originally, he was part of the fragments of "True Athan". He is created by True Athan, replacing his memories with a false one. The main reason why he was created is still unknown. His personality when he was still living as "Athan" from the 1st world line, it was almost similar to True Athan but he was given an emotion, which True Athan doesn't have. He's not included in True Athan's board piece.
Two Very Important Characters.
Arthur - Artoria = He's/She's True Athan's rival. This person is not smart, cunning, yet his luck and strength is what makes him a terrifying opponent. In 1st world line, he became Athan's bestfriend. In 2nd world line, he became a she... Not gay, a real SHE. After dying for the first time before everything started, he and True Athan met the Beings. He was meant to participate in the 2nd round as Athan's piece, but chose to rebel after he became the "Queen". Later, he was "sacrificed" like how it usually happens in every chess game, becoming a King-less Queen. His personality in 1st world line, a kind oaf. 2nd world line, somehow became calculative and smarter than MC.
Deus = An unknown being who became powerful, but got sealed for an unknown reason.
At the 149 chapter, "True Athan" will awaken after Athan died in the 1st world line. He had a quick conversation with the , the Being will begin to explain some of the secrets of True Athan.
Latest chapter, the first phase of Mc's torture.
The Curse that had been placed to him by True Athan...
Will finally begin.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the start of the second world line is at 151 chapter. If you want to see how he progressed through the curse, you can just skip the 1-147 chapter to go ahead there.
Don't worry, the first world line is only an introduction to the characters and there are only few important stuff mentioned there.
You can just read the 148 immediately since that's basically the real prologue.
If ever you get confused, the confusion part will get explained will get explained after a few chapters or so. You can just read the other volume whenever you're waiting for new chapters to come out.
Anyways, I can already guess some of what you're probably thinking.
Why I made the 1-147?
Like I said, it's an introduction to each important figures that will POSSIBLY appear in the future. It also has some importance, but that can depend on how you connect the dots hidden.
It's complicated, and I'm sure only few of you will understand... This is somewhat positive and negative situation for me, if you can understand that.
Anyways, main character will get his character development after beginning to experience infite loopthe curse. It'll begin slow, but it'll sky rocket later.
Plus, I know that some of you guys are still starting this novel. If you're starting this novel, you will notice that the early chapters are REALLY bad. But don't worry, I'm still on the process of re-editing every chapters until the prologue part.
