Chapter 76 The Conversation Under the Starry Night

"They are all useless struggles."

Sherman put the report he had read in the storage box of the carriage. "It's meaningless to delay it like this."

He put away the report and got off the carriage.

The convoy encamped in the wild. A fire was set up and a sheep specially bought for dinner was roasted.

Hedda sat beside a bonfire, playing with her lightning.

The little lightning was nimbly shuttling between her fingers.

Seeing this, Sherman felt less upset.

Sherman had authorized Hugh to work in the name of his agent after he received his report.

Then he didn't know what happened because Hugh didn't report all things. He only knew that Roy had investigated who had caused the riot and set the fire for several days.

He was like a headless fly.

Everyone made a vague answer or said that they didn't know. They were determined to protect those leaders.

Sherman didn't agree with the solutions on the report, but he acquiesced.
