Ch 13 : Nojiko's mission

The afternoon after Rei and Nami dealt with Arlong Pirates, Rei found himself lying in bed with Nami.

Well, after all these events together, the relationship between the two had pretty much been confirmed.

Still, Rei was too tired to do that last night, and that must be postponed for another day.

Rei then stood up as he put on his clothes and he left the bedroom. He just did not have the heart to wake up Nami. That girl had finally had a good sleep free of her nightmare, so Rei decided to let her sleep a bit longer.

But just when Rei thought everything was over, he suddenly found that the house was once again surrounded by a group of Marine.

" AH... there's that event huh?"

Last night, Rei and Nami after defeating Arlong decided to take all the money for themself.

They would later distribute it to the villagers, but for now, most of the money was still in their hands. Therefore, it wasn't really a surprise if this corrupted Marine was to go after him.

The leader, Captain Nezumi had just opened his mouth.

It was Nojiko. She had her usual style of clothing, but for some reason, today's Nojiko had that warm aura that wasn't there before.

It seemed the death of Arlong had put her mind at ease.
