Burials Don't Take Time

'Thanks for coming mum, you too Alicia.' I said and hugged them both.

'Kassy, I'll see you at the graveyard?' Emily asked.

'I think I'll go back to the house. I don't think I can watch it.' I said and smiled a little.

'Okay. See you.' Emily walked out.

The house was really quiet because everyone went with Emily to the graveyard save for Anthony and I.

I went to Lily's room and began packing my bags. I really did not want to remember anything about her for a moment.

I just wanted my mind to be as blank as the papers I drew on before I made them colorful with my pen.

'Hey.' Anthony said as he knocked on the open door.

'Hi. Thanks for staying with me, it means a lot.' I locked my box and moved it away from the bed.

'No problem, I just want you to feel comfortable.' He sat on the bed.

His eyes were teary, he had been crying. I sat down and hugged him. I needed the hug more than he did, I needed some kind of comforting and I could only get it from the arms of another person.
