‘No, he left.’ I hated being the bearer of bad news, but the cold water had to be poured.

'It's in two days. Janice said she wanted to get buried as fast as possible.' He laughed.

I spent the rest of that day in my room with Kolin. Alicia said she needed to get a few things done so she left him with me.
