Rayla looked up at Brad for a moment. "Brad, is everything alright?" she asked him as she was resting on the hospital bed. Brad sat next to her and held her hand tenderly, being hooked up to wires that had saline solution to flush out the toxins in her body from the drug overdose given to her by Anne and her men so that she wouldn't escape.

"Yeah, everything's going to be alright. I spoke with the doctors and they are expecting you to make a full recovery" Brad said softly.

Rayla sighed a sigh of relief as she laid back in the bed. "Good, I can't wait to get back to work" she said relieved. "Is that all you think about, is going back to the office?" Brad thought to herself but he kept the comment to himself.

It had been about a week since Rayla's rescue. Police and detectives cracked down on Anne and her thugs and had them arrested on kidnapping and causing harm to another human being.
