"Don't get used to seeing scenes like that, that doesn't normally happen around here trust me…." I told Chloe as we got into the elevator.

I swallowed a breath for a moment. I felt like a heart broken teenager at the sight of her crush being in the embrace of someone else. I felt heart broken all of the sudden, but why? I knew nothing was going to ever come out of something like that between me and Evan? I thought and questioned within myself.

"Oh, did we get the signature that we needed?" I asked Chloe.

She grasped for a moment and the form wasn't in her files.

"Yes, found it" Chloe smiled softly at me. "Alright, lets go finish our work for the day and then we both can go home… today's been an…. Interesting day" I said frowning whilst smiling anxiously in front of my new assistant.

"You put it so savoury…." Chloe chuckled. "Yeah" I laughed with her softly.
