Evan's POV:
I was just remembering last night when she confessed her feelings to me. She must
have struggled for a long time with her feelings for me and fighting them within that
heart of hers…
After I made a comment about her husband not buying her things, she went quiet
and never said a word. We were in the car as Frank was driving us home to freshen
up and I wanted Rayla to try on the dress for dinner later. I had planned a reservation
to a fancy restaurant for two later and I'd arranged for a bouquet of red roses to be
arranged with a candle lit dinner overlooking the balcony of the entire city skyline in
town tonight.
"Did I say something wrong earlier?" I asked her curiously as she was quiet.
"Evan…." She said. "Yes?" I responded softly. "why are you being so kind to me…. I
don't deserve all of this?" She questioned me.
