That night, Brad drives home after dropping off Rachel to his mother's place to look after her while Brad goes on this mission with Brian to capture Evan Blade and bring him in for questioning and bring him back to PMC HQ so that no one else gets to him before they do.

Brad is driving home that night, in a calm rage as he thought about the hurt look on Rayla's face when he slapped her earlier that night for talking back to his mother. Brad was the typical mother's boy but he only saw Rayla as his enemy because people, his mother included, kept putting into his head that she was his enemy just because she didn't want children for that matter.

As Brad pulls up to their house and comes home, he saw that the light was still on. When he walked into the house, the place had been cleaned and put back into order as if there was no birthday party celebration whatsoever.
