"I'm going to still try to reach him once again, because he might have some assignments which he might want to assign to us if he he isn't going to be coming to clsss any longer." The class head started to speak into the microphone, informing the whole class.
"You can just send the assignments to the group chat." Azriel said this time and some of the class members who were sitting in front of us turned around to stare at me in curiosity for a few seconds.
"That can work out too, I guess? But we still have to wait for some more time. That way, we'd have known we waited for almost two hours." The class head continued to speak and everyone started to whine in the next moment.
"I honestly don't think the professor is still going to be attending the class today." Azriel started to say. One of the girls sitting before us turned around to glance at Azriel. Her hair was in a bun and a few strands framed her face.
"I know, right? It's just that one person isn't going to want to leave the class, while the rest are still here, to avoid being the person who would miss the class." The girl chirped in. She looked so familiar, I could remember seeing her a couple or handful of times in this class although I still do not know her name yet. She was staring at Azriel though, and I watched as Azriel spluttered at first before starting to respond to her.
"Uh yeah, yeah. You're right, that's exactly what's happening now."
The girl said something else which I was unable to catch and she was turning around to face the front of the class once again. I turned my head around until I was staring at Azriel. His face was currently red, and the color only deepened when our eyes locked.
"Look who has a crush on the cute girl sitting before us." I whispered in a teasing voice as I nudged him at his shoulder side. He whined a little and tried to scowl at me, but the heated color on his face was making me not take him seriously.
It was a really cute thing. It was really cute to see Azriel being this riled up over someone, seeing as I've never seen him actually crush on anyone before, ever since we became friends.
I leaned into Ella's side after a few moments and informed her of what had just happened.
"Ouuuuu, our baby Azriel developed feelings for someone?" Ella cooed as she sat up on her seat to glance at Azriel who still has some color in his cheeks.
"Shut up," Azriel spat out, but it was without any kind of force and Ella chuckled alongside myself.
"I swear it, I hate you guys." He promised us after a couple of moments but I only rolled my eyes at him before offering him the middle finger.
"That's some bullshit cap, you love us like plants need water." Ella argued, throwing a playful glare at him.
"No I don't, who told you such lies?" Azriel demanded in the next moment, with a small smile playing across his face and the color now completely off his face and ears.
"Your actions says it a whole lot of times, also I know it just fine on my own." Ella responded to him with an eye roll. I was starting to feel restless once again and I tried to drag in deep breath into my lungs to make that wave of restlessness leave me be, to no avail after a few seconds.
We had to wait for over thirty more minutes, with everyone doing their own things and finally stopping to face the front of the class when the class rep took his place with a microphone in hand once again.
"So, turns out the professor didn't end up showing up." He said into the microphone after a few moments.
"You could have just dismissed us yourself, then we wouldn't have to wait for over forty minutes more for nothing." A deep voice growled from the back of the class.
"I did say whoever that wanted to leave could leave some time ago, did I not?" The class head snapped in the next moment but got nothing but silence in response.
"I might be able to get him later today, and then if there are some assignments, I'll pass it across in the group chat, so please make sure to stop by at the group chat tonight to check, because I won't tolerate anyone blaming me for not seeing the assignments in the group." He paused and waited for a few seconds.
"I think we can all go home now, until ten a.m tomorrow. If a class gets canceled, I'll announce it in the group chat as well. Have a good night, everyone."
