Love Between The Two Worlds

We never knew we were far away from the mainland. We had to walk for hours to get to the mainland. It's no wonder they still have not found Lord Inox. 


We have put on hoods and our mouth was covered with a cloth so we don't go recognized. It was midnight now and there was rarely anyone around. But this was also the time the hunting usually intensifies. 


"Stop!" Lord Inox suddenly whisper shouted as we froze. 


"Do you hear that?" he asked as Nyx quickly grabbed hold of my hand. 


"Stay behind," he said to me and I saw Lord did the same to Sunny. 


They both started to look around when suddenly I caught something in my peripheral sight. 


I quickly turn to the right and saw a man pointing a gun at us. 


"Nyx! Careful!!" I shouted as I pushed him down with me. The bullet passed by us and I sighed knowing none of us is harmed. 


But it was definitely not a good day for us as a bunch of soldiers came out. 


"Shit" Lord Inox cursed as he hugged Sunny. 


Lord Innox
