Murderous Intentions

Akuro stood among the gods and deities then, defying their will. They were standing in his way, challenging him, and now that he had a second chance, he refused to let it go. Nothing, absolutely nothing, would get in the way of him living how he wanted.

"Look," Akuro said with a shrug, holding the scythe over his shoulder, "if you really think I'm such a threat, then why don't you just kill me? Or are you too weak?" He grinned, releasing his pressure and letting it whip about like a wild storm. His heart was racing with excitement as Sun Wukong seemed to prepare to pounce, but then one of the other Deities, Onoma, dashed at Akuro, swinging the axe in a downward slash. Akuro, caught off guard, leapt aside, turning to Onoma, their eyes locking.

"I didn't plan on fighting you yet, Onoma, was it? But if you insist on standing in my way..." Akuro said, "then I'll kill you!" A shroud of shadows enveloped Akuro's scythe, causing it to let out a hiss as he swung it through the air, a wave of black aura launching from the blade towards Onoma, who seemed to disappear within a single instant. The aura slash then cut deep into the ground, splitting it open.

"I'm not in your way. You're in mine." Onoma's voice came from behind Akuro, cold and full of malice. 'How the hell?' Akuro thought, as Onoma's blood red aura flowed over his axe as he brought it down on Akuro, who made no move to dodge. Instead he withstood the strike, the impact causing the ground to shatter and sink into a small crater. Akuro smiled ear to ear, his body shook and his heart beat like a drum. His crazed eyes turned to Onoma. "This is gonna be fun..."

A strong force then pulled all external auras in towards Akuro then all the gathered aura continued to whirl around him like a whirlpool of shadow.

"Let's see how you do against my new attack, I just came up with it a second ago," Akuro said, still smiling. Onoma tried to back off, but he was being forcibly pulled in towards Akuro, and his aura was being snapped away from him, keeping him from using any of his powers.

Raijin's eyes widened, "we need to stop that attack, now!" He roared.

Akuro let out a crazed laugh. "Too late, gramps." Akuro held out his hand like he was holding something in it, then his the aura froze, and he clenched his fist.

"Dark Implosion."

A wave of immense pressure pressed in on Akuro then before exploding outward in a mass of pitch black aura that annihilated everything it came into contact with. But, as this happened, Onoma suddenly vanished again and an even greater aura forced itself against the explosion, compressing it and holding it back until it ran its full course and faded entirely, leaving behind a massive grater with Akuro at its center. He stood staring up at the newcomer with a bored, disappointed expression and his hands in his pockets.

"Well who might you be?" He asked.

A figure floated in the air above Akuro and the others, Onoma thrown over the their shoulder. The figure descended, setting Onoma down, who glared at Akuro, not that he cared.

"My name is not for you to know." The figure said. The man had long silver hair, a short stubby beard, a heavy set build and silver glowing eyes. They wore white robes and massive white feathered wings extended from his back.

"Oi, so you're the god, huh? The big guy behind everything, am I wrong?" Akuro asked as the five gods were kneeling.

"You are not wrong, nor are you right. I've been watching you Akuro Zaizen. You wield immense power, but you do not wield it for the correct purpose." The man said with a booming voice.

Akuro scowled, "I'll be damned if I let anyone decide how I live, that's what started this whole skirmish to begin with. I'll live my way, anyone who gets in my way will die. I honestly bear no I'll will to anyone here."

"He is too much of a danger, lord! He must be killed!" Raijin roared suddenly. God turned to Raijin then with a frown, "No, Raijin. I have a reason for choosing this boy, he has a purpose, he just hasn't found his way yet."

"He could end up destroying us!" Raijin argued.

"ENOUGH!" God roared. "The boy shall not be harmed, and there will be no more conflict in my realm! Hold your will to fight until you are reincarnated."

"Hey, god, may I ask why you chose me exactly?" Akuro inquired, his aura now fading away and his features returning to normal.

"No, that is for me to know and you to find out." Was God's response.

"Should've guessed you'd answer in riddles."

The last of the Deities walked forward then, kneeling before God. "My lord, how I've begged to meet you! I am you humble servant, and I have a request of you!"

'Who the hell is this chick?' Akuro wondered. She had long blonde hair, lush skin and rich blue eyes along with large features.

"What is your request, Adeline?" God spoke.

"Allow me to be your hand of destruction and purify the human race of sin! Allow me to be the one to eradicate mankind and rebuild it from the earth up in your image!"

A shocked silence fell over the room. 'This girl's delusional... what the hell?' Was all Akuro could think of her display.

"The future of mankind is in the hands of the Deities, it is for you to decide. If what you say is your will, then do as you please and fight for it. Just know it won't be easy." God broke the silence.

"Of course! I accept your will! Thank you for this mission!"

'Crazy woman, he didn't even say he wanted you to do it, you just assumed... the hell is wrong with you?' Akuro thought in disbelief of how delusional she was. Then he noticed that one of her arms was wrapped in gold chains. 'Is that the weapon she chose? Good to know...'

Akuro felt a gaze on him and he turned to look in the direction he felt it from. Inari was looking at him with a lab expression he couldn't quite understand. He smiled, then turned away, but he still felt her eyes on him. It unsettled him. 'What's up with her?' He wondered. He also noticed Raijin and Onoma glaring at him as well. He sighed. 'So much aggression, why me? All I wanna do is live freely, what's wrong with that?'

"Go back to your rooms. Now. If any more conflicts take place there will be extreme consequences. Now go. You will be reincarnated tomorrow, and no more trainings either." God spoke, then vanished in white vapor.

'No more training huh? Damn. I wanted to test some stuff out. It might be a problem if I can't test my powers here, if I were to test them on Earth there is a good chance it could be noticed.' Akuro looked down at the crater he stood in. Then he realized the eyes of everyone in the room were on him.

"Oi, this is awkward." He said, "look, I want to make something clear, I don't want to kill or fight any of you, alright? I just wanna do my own thing, and as long as you don't get in my way there won't be any problems. Kay? Kay."

"What is your power?" Onoma asked suddenly. Akuro turned to him.

"You first."

Onoma cursed under his breath. "Yeah, figured as much. If you aren't willing to show me your cards I'm not showing mine." Akuro said, then smiled, "Though it's not like it would matter even if I did tell you my powers, you wouldn't be able to beat me anyways. Well, I'm off, see y'all tomorrow." Akuro jumped out of the crater he stood in and walked over the scattered weapons, black scythe in hand as he ascended the stairs and headed towards his room.

Raijin stormed towards one of the Deities following him down a hall. Darius stopped when he noticed that he was being followed. Arms folded, he turned to Raijin.

"Is there something I can do for you?" Darius asked. 'What does this old geezer want?'

Raijin grabbed the collar of Darius's shirt and pulled him close. "Listen, boy, I know you wished for the power of Loki."

Darius scowled, "listen old man, if you plan on-"

"Calm yourself, I don't plan on telling anyone. I actually want to extend my hand out to help you." Raijin spoke in a hushed voice.

Darius furrowed his brow. 'I can see why Akuro doesn't like this guy.' "And what would that be?"

"That monster was a mistake, he never should've become a Deity. He needs to go." Raijin hissed.

'He's talking about Akuro.' Darius thought, "I dunno man, I kinda like the guy." He said with a smile. "What does you wanting him dead have to do with me?"

"Simple really, I want you to gain his trust..." Raijin spoke, holding out a small, poorly crafted dagger that made Darius want to laugh. "And then kill him."

"With that?" Darius laughed, "for one, there's no way I can beat the guy, you can't even beat him, I'm but a simple trickster. Even so I know my limits, I can't defeat him, especially not with that pathetic toy." Darius smiled, "If I do anything with Akuro, I'd make him my ally, not my foe. I saw his little show, I don't wanna be on his bad side."

"This is no normal dagger. It has the ability to sever souls, and if you help me I will repay you handsomely." Raijin spoke.

"Oh? How handsomely exactly?" Darius had his suspicions, but there was always the chance it could benefit him."

"I will grant you a second wish."

Akuro sat in his room brainstorming on ways he could use his power. 'My Dark Implosion seemed like it would've been quite effective if God man didn't come in and stop it. I wonder what else I can do with this power. Hmm... it's not like I can just make whatever I want happen, whatever I come up with has to match up with my abilities. Oi, for I now I suppose my Dark Implosion will do. I'll come up with new stuff later when I can further test my abilities. As for this...' he raised the black scythe in one hand, his aura enveloping it. The red markings then began to glow crimson. Akuro tilted his head in wonder. 'I wish I knew what this thing did. Oh well, I guess I won't be able to know until I use it on something."

"Boy." Came a voice. Akuro looked up to see God standing before him.

"Oi, what's up, God man?" Akuro said, setting his scythe aside.

"I'm here to discuss something with you."

"No, really? I figured you were here to have tea."

"You know Raijin intends to kill you, yes?" God spoke, ignoring Akuro's sarcasm.

"Yeah, I know," he sighed, "but to be honest I could care less. He really doesn't pose a threat to me."

"No, he does not, but at the same time he does."

Akuro furrowed his brow. "Again with the riddles, man. It's annoying."

"I can't tell you everything, it would be against the rules."

"So even God is enslaved by rules, huh? Sounds pretty shitty."

"Without order there is only chaos."

"Yeah, yeah. Either way I don't care. Is that all you came to talk about?" Akuro yawned.

"No. I also came to talk about your future."

"Look I already told you, I am gonna do what I want a nobody will get in my way," Akuro's eyes narrowed, "that includes you."

"I don't intend to get on your way. I only want you to know of one thing; you are the chosen child."

"Chosen child? You know that was pretty random. It seems like you just made that up on the go."

"Wrong again. Out of every five Deities there is one chosen child. The chosen child, ultimately, is the one with the greatest influence. But there are still always the other Deities, just because of your destiny, it doesn't mean you're invincible, even if you're immortal."

"Okay... so why does any of this matter? Honestly I find all you are telling me to be boring and pointless, as well as suspicious."

God nodded, "I realize that, but there is a point to my words that you will one day understand. The trial of the gods never ends by the hand of god."

"Again with the riddles!" Akuro groaned.

"I will take my leave now with these few parting words; the fate of mankind is in your hands, you will either become mankind's hero." God's eyes narrowed as his body began to fade, "or you will be it's end."
