Keepers of Moon

"A Dragon?!" Roared Brimgarn's voice in Akuro's mind.

'So it would seem.' He responded.

"A silver dragon.." Mato spoke distantly. "You think-?"

"No, don't even consider it Mato. This dragon is a completely different breed from Scillia and I. I am excited to see its capabilities."

"Different species?"

"Yes. Scillia and I are Western Dragons. That is an Eastern, or better known as a Lan Dragon."

"A Lan Dragon, hm?" Mato echoed his words.

"Yes. They are fabled to have almost immeasurable power."

'That.' Akuro said, 'I shall test for myself.'

"Pfft. I doubt even a Alan Dragon could beat us." Mato scoffed.

"We shall see.." Brimgarn growled.

Akuro could feel the presence of Mato and Brimgarn as they observed every action he took with interest. It was like he was being judged or criticized as he moved. It was unnerving as well as annoying and he felt like it would throw him off, but he knew there wasn't much he could do about it, so he attempted to ignore it.

"So that's your real form?" Akuro called up to Moorza. "I wondered why your Aura Cloak was so strange."

"Hmm. Observant are we?" The dragon spoke, his voice deep and brusque.

"It wasn't an Aura Cloak at all, it was just your dragonic features showing through."

"Correct. And now you can see me at full power!" Moorza let out a tremendous roar that shook the world itself and silver streaks of light flashed across the sky like lightning. Then two small balls of light descended down from Moorza's coiled body and alighted upon Nerrik and Nezzra, enveloping in a silver glow.

Moorza's dragonic form was magnificent and divine, brilliant silver scales that gave off waht seemed like moonlight while he had four long horns that streaked back from his head. A luscious mane of silver fur ran down his spine while his body was long  and snake-like. His snout was long and thin while his eyes were clear and pale.

Akuro sensed a rise in the siblings aura levels and suddenly dashed forwards, straight for them. He'd kill them before they became an issue, but as he tried, a violent beam of silver light struck the earth in front of him, obliterating the land and scorching his skin through his Aura Cloak, causing him to back off. Akuro glanced at his scorched shoulder. His Aura Cloak was still perfectly intact.

"I see.." he spoke, then thought, 'his attacks go straight through my Cloak as if it is t even there. If I'm not careful I'll take more damage than needed.'

He glanced over at the siblings. Their aura levels were still rising. Soon they'd get up and join in the fight, which could prove annoying. He looked up at Moorza.

'Cut the head off the snake.'

He raised his hand.

"Come here, beastie."

Suddenly a stream of black aura rushed at Moorza like talons, reaching around the dragon's throat before wrenching him out of the sky and slamming him to the ground at Akuro's feet, holding him there. Akuro put his foot on Moorza's snout, his pressure causing the dragon's snout to snap and crack.

"A Lan Dragon, huh? I'm not impressed." Akuro spoke in a bored tone.

"I'm not the one you should be concerned with." Moorza growled through clenched teeth.

"What?" Akuro looked up and saw that Nezzra and Nerrik were now gone, then he felt a cold presence from behind him approaching at a high speed. He spun on his heel as Nezzra flashed next to him, silver daggers narrowly missing his throat as he grabbed her arm which shattered and burst apart on contact before he spun, his foot cracking into her head and sending her rolling end over end. Then came Nerrik, two massive swords slashing downwards as he descended on Akuro who simple sent a wave of aura upwards, knocking the boy hundreds of feet into the air before he landed some yards away.

He turned back to face Moorza as the Dragon's tail came down on him, forcing him to raise his arms to counter, the force of the strike causing the earth to shatter under Akuro's feet, creating a deep depression in the ground. Akuro then wrapped his arms around Moorza's tail, but he wrenched it free and spun, talons crashing into Akuro's body and sending him skidding across the battlefield, followed by a stream of silver light that he had to jump up into the sky to avoid.

Once airborn, Moorza came flying at him, but as soon as he came close Akuro launched himself higher then crashed his fists downwards on his snout, shattering it before sending the dragon's body spiraling to the ground with a tremendous impact followed by Akuro slamming down feet first on Moorza's midsection, shattering it and causing the Dragon's chest to explode in a burst of blood and bone.

Moorza's wounds began to hiss, healing over almost instantly. Caught off guard, Akuro leapt back. He was surprised at how fast Moorza was healing.

Nezzra and Nerrik suddenly appeared at either side of Akuro, weapons gleaming in the moonlight as they swung for Akuro simultaneously.

"Fuck off." Akuro hissed as two talons of black aura appeared, crashing into the two siblings and slashing deep cuts across their bodies and sending them rolling across the battlefield.

"Tell these children to leave. I have no interest in weaklings." Akuro growled. "All I'm interested in.." he pointed at the Dragon. "Is you, Moorza."

"Oh? What, so the great Omnipotent Death acknowledges me?" Moorza mocked.

"I do. You should feel.." Akuro raised his foot before plunging it into the earth, sending massive split into the ground that ran towards Moorza, "HONORED!"

From the crack rushed black aura flowing upwards like black flames erupting out of the ground like a volcano. Moorza's body cooled and shifted out of the way as he flew upwards out of the aura's reach, but that was what Akuro had counted on, a roof of shadow crashing into the front and sending him rushing downwards straight into the flames. Moorza let out a cry of agony as black flames engulfed him, turning a shade of crimson as they burned away his scales. Akuro gave him no chance to heal, rushing at him and materializing his God Slayer, slamming the scythe's blunt end down on Moorza, pinning him, before spinning the weapon in his hands and bringing it down on his opponent, the blade inches away from plunging into Moorza's frame just as Nerrik flashed into existence, a massive award slamming into Akuro's side and sending him skidding a couple yards away.

"Damn brat!" Akuro hissed. "Don't interfere!"

Pitch black aura bolted out of the ground where Nerrik stood, wrapping around him like vines before crushing him, his bones being completely shattered and his skin tearing as the black vines twisted and wrenched his body apart, tearing flesh and bone and spraying blood in all directions.

Nezzra appeared at Akuro's side, daggers held between her fingers poised for Akuro's throat. But she was too slow. Akuro spun and grabbed her by the head, shattering her skull as he slammed her to the ground.

"You're fast girl, but that's not enough." Akuro spoke. "Now die."

Black aura exploded form Akuro's hand, his dark implosion completely swallowing the girl's body, leaving nothing behind.

"Bastard!" Moorza hissed, the dragon rushing at Akuro, who simply summoned the God Slayer and spun on his heel, the blade plunging through Moorza's skull from the side before Akuro twisted the blade and swung the dragon over his head, slamming his skull into the earth, shattering the ground.

Moorza's body went limp as black markings covered his silver scales.

The scythe disappearing, Akuro stood still then over his opponent. Black aura still held Nerrik in a death grip while Moorza seemed unconscious.

"Disappointing." Akuro hissed. "I even had this. Oh well."

He snapped his finger, and suddenly the entire world around him was blotted out in shadows that tore the earth to shreds and ripped it open, splitting it apart. When it all faded out, the world was unrecognizable, massive cracks were star cast across the earth as though it were a field of active volcanoes. It looked like a planet sized being took a knife and repeatedly gouged it into the land.

"Maybe.." Akuro spoke, looking down at the dragon below him. "I'm too strong. These fights are always entertaining at first, but then they never fail to disappoint."

"WHAT?!" God roared, furious. veins were bulging along his body and his face was red from rage. "MOORZA LOST?! HOW?! TELL ME HOW THE FUCK MOORZA LOSES WHEN HE HAD NERRIK AND NEZZRA?!"

"I-I don't know... this Akuro character is much, much stronger than we first thought.." answered a girl, Aphrodite's replacement as God's advisor. She seemed more frail and easily startled.

God rubbed his eyes, irritated. "No matter what I throw at this kid he just fucks it all up. What will it take, a Titan?!"

"We have a Titan?"

"NO, MIRIA, WE DO NOT HAVE A TITAN." God hissed.

"Oh.."

"UGH! What the hell am I supposed to do? Should I just go down there and fight this kid myself?"

Suddenly a cold wind rand through the throne room and an intense aura choked the chamber.

God's eyes widened. "This... aura..."

The double doors swung open and a tall, thin cloaked figure entered. The figure wore a plain white mask over his face and black aura hissed around his body.

God's eyes narrowed. "Why is there a demon in my halls?"

"Greetings, Youlgnir, or should I call you God?" The figure spoke, there voice a raspy hiss.

"Why are you here?" God growled.

"Ive heard about this... boy. He call himself the Omnipotent Death and has claimed my throne. I find this annoying."

"Annoying? You denounced your total of Demon King long ago, what's your point?"

"I'm saying I hate the idea of a Deity ruling my realm." The figure said. "I'm here to offer to take care of the boy for you."

"Oh? You? Help me?" God asked, suspicious.

"Yes. You can accept or don't. Deal with this boy yourself. Just know I will interfere either way. Thought I'd tell you." The figure turned to leave.

"Wait!" God stopped him. "Fine. But what do you get out of this?"

"Heh. I want my throne back. And for you to let the demon race take souls freely. That is all."

God sneered. "Take souls freely?"

"Fine then." The figure began to leave again.

"Ah, fine! Fine. I accept your terms." God was out of options at this rate. This was his only choice.

A ghostly laugh came from the figure. "Good. Then I, Azazel, will eliminate this... Omnipotent Death."
