CHAPTER 19

In reaction to her words, Edmund's brows pinched together in slight confusion and surprise. The last time they played a game it didn't end so great, which was why he cautiously asked, "You want to play a game?" When he got a firm nod in response, he asked again, "What type of game do you want to play."

The confusion in his eyes mixed with amusement as the corners of his lips lifted in a gentle smile. "Are you sure you want to play this game? You didn't seem so pleased about the last time."

"I am very sure I want to play another game with you." To support her words, she gave him another firm nod before she began to assign the players to their right places on the board.
