Her slender finger began tracing his facial features as she spoke, "My desire to make you mine," Her finger moved towards his plump lips as she sensually caressed them under her thumb, wondering how they would feel on hers. Edmund's brows raised in disbelief, "Because the damn man has been spying on me!" He spat half angrily.

Susan involuntarily scoffed, "Has your madness gotten to this extent, Duke Edmund?"

"YOU THINK I AM MAD? You think I am mad." Edmund pointed to himself, nose flaring in anger. He didn't know which one angered him the more. The fact that she called him Duke Edmund or the fact she was calling him a liar.

Susan didn't miss the look of disappointment that flashed in his eyes. What? He must be a fool to think that she would quickly or naively jump into his arms if he came to her with such an accusation. "If you are not mad, you are talking like one,"

"Cancel your engagement to that man. He is a fraudster."

Susan's brows pinched together, "Not this again," Her words were accompanied by her hands that shot up to massage her temple, "I thought I had already made my point clear to you about this issue."
