CHAPTER 29

A week later and Penelope is trying her best to be close to her grandfather. Duke Harrison is not an easy man to defeat whether it's a physical or psychological battle. Unlike his father, the duke doesn't easily fall to her tricks of acting cute in front of him. Penelope always gives her best to be good in his eyes but all she can receive from him is a simple pat on her head.

He is not like the usual grandfathers she saw in the past who love having their grandchildren with them. Duke Harrison is like an aloof person. She can also see that the duke is also treating her father with somewhat a lukewarm attitude. If only they don't have any resemblance, Penelope will mistake them for a General and his subordinate.
