CHAPTER 33

"Little miss, why are you pouting like that?"

"Penelope is just thinking, nanny."

"Hmm? About what?"

"...Penelope is thinking about what dessert to eat later with daddy and grandpa."

"Oh, little miss. I'm sure the young duke will give you a lot of delicious desserts later."

"Oh."

Lisa thinks her little miss is still thinking about the desserts she wants to eat. She knows very well that Penelope likes to eat delicious food, especially desserts. Shaking her head, Lisa resumed braiding her little miss's wavy hair.

But what Penelope had told her nanny is a complete lie. She's not thinking about the desserts that they will eat later. What she's thinking about is the man who introduced himself as her father's brother. In truth, this is the first time she learned that her grandpa has another son.
