When Ronald hits her shoulder, Penelope falls to the carpeted floor and screams. She cries so loud that the whole mansion can probably hear her voice. Ronald suddenly feels panicked and looks around first. When he cannot see anyone, Ronald quickly urges the little girl to shut up.

"Why are you crying? Stop it now!" Ronald hissed as he forced Penelope to stand up.

But the little girl refused to listen. She even kick her legs and lay flat on the floor.

"Hmm? What an amusing sight. A random person really dares to make the young duke's precious daughter cry."

Turning his head, Ronald sees a familiar young man standing not too far from them. He is wearing his official robes and giving him a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. It was the young prince of the Lastoval Kingdom, Prince Lucien.
