Day 2

Waking up, today he thought it would be a good idea to go and see Wrath. He needed to visit her for two things knowledge and equipment.

He needs weapons and to know how to use them, and Wrath is the perfect candidate to teach him the basics, although he doubts there's any weapons here in his size it wouldn't hurt to look.

Adonis finally reaching Wraths room knocked and called out if she was in there.

*Knock*

*Knock*

"Wrath are you in there?"

"Coming father just give me a minute" Wrath answered Adonis hurriedly.

Wrath who was just sleeping, woke up to the sound of Adonis voice and jumped out of her bed and answerd him, buying herself time to clean up her room and fix her bed hair. What Wrath didn't know was that she was too focused on cleaning and making it look good for her father, that she didn't notice she was thinking outloud.

"Goddammit my room is a mess"

"Ugh, just look at my hair I can't show myself like this in front of Father!"

"Wrath you fucking pig, you can't let Father enter this disgusting room. I rather kill myself then letting him see me in this disgraceful state!"

Adonis who was outside the door just pretended he didn't hear anything and looked up at the ceiling waiting until Wrath was ready to come outside.

Finally after exactly one minute Wrath opened the door letting Adonis who was staring at the ceiling into her room.

"Father to what do I owe this visit" Wrath asked her father with a dazzling smile and great curiosity of why he came to her.

"Wrath, I came here to know if you can pick out a weapon that suits me and possibly also teach me how to wield it"

"Hmm, we don't have many weapons that can suit you, but I do have one weapon in mind the could probably be of use to you, follow me father" Wrath answered Adonis while guiding him out of her room and to the training grounds to pick out the weapon for him.

As Wrath and Adonis finally made it to the training grounds of the palace. Wrath went to a storage in the corner and came back showing Adonis his weapon.

"Ok father, this is a long spear, the only weapon out of two that we currently have that suit you. We also have the pike but I think this one suits you better" Wrath told Adonis truthfully while handing him the long spear.

The long spear which was about the same length as him, could only be called a normal spear in his presence.

"Now I know what you're thinking father. Why don't I just give you the pike, it would be more suitable for you because it's longer right? Well no, pikes are mainly used in calvary, although Righteousness is gonna give you a mount tomorrow on your trip, I don't think you're gonna be fighting on your mount all the time right"

"Yes you're correct Wrath fighting only in a mount all time limits me too much, I need versatility"

"Am glad you look at it the same way I do father. But now comes the part we're I teach you on how to use it, since it looks like your holding a normal spear am gonna teach it to you like that"

"First there's the thrust and the slash you mainly wanna focus more in the thrust because the spears main strength lies in the precise and accurate thrusts you can do with them." Wrath explained patiently and slowly so Adonis can get every possible thing about the weapon.

"Alright Father, you've always wanna keep the spear up high protecting your face, not down low where it would leave you vulnerable to an enemy attack" Wrath told Adonis while showing him how to hold and use the spear.

"But I guess when you're so tall exceptions could be made. I mean you're so tall your height alone protects your face, one of your main weak points." Wrath told Adonis while looking up at him and marveling at his height.

And with that Wrath told Adonis everything she could tell him about the spear and its uses, patiently while also demonstrating it to him with her own spear.

Adonis who was now alone and practicing with a dummy couldn't help but think if all his preparations for this trip would be enough, but thinking that the really dangerous stuff only happens when Bean is born and she's nineteen years of age, he stopped worrying about it.

Right now he will only put his attention on the spear and try to learn as much as possible from the basics as he can, before he takes off tomorrow and sees what it's like outside his kingdom with his own two eyes.
