Ashnard jumped high up, dodging the wolf's attack. However, the rain of black energy that Erik threw sent Ashnard flying, despite having parried it.
He had just woken up, but the wolf continued to press on him like it wouldn't stop until Ashnard died. Ashnard had dodged, repelled, or changed his target, but still, the wolf didn't give up.
Ashnard tried desperately to avoid the claws and fangs that had injured his friends. He held the long claws with his sword. Then, he spun around to counterattack the creature's side.
Again, Erik released projectile energy to thwart Ashnard's attack. Ashnard bounced because he wasn't ready.
"What a hassle," growled Ashnard, who fell to the ground.
"Are you finished?" Erik walked towards Ashnard, and so did the wolf walking from the left side.
As his two foes drew closer, Ashnard whispered a word into his sword. Instantly a loud hum emanated from the sword and hurt the ears of Erik and the wolf.
