Ashnard banged his sword, even though he knew it was futile. No effect at all other than just giving a loud clinking sound.

The Wounded Man's strength and fighting techniques were not arbitrary. Much different from when Ashnard fought Erik.

When fighting Erik, Ashnard could still read his moves and immediately anticipated them. However, when he fought the Wounded Man, he was always in trouble because the man's movements were faster and stronger.

When Ashnard wants to launch an attack, the Wounded Man can parry it or dodge it. However, when the Wounded Man dealt an attack, even though Ashnard had parried it, he was still hit by the effects of the blow.

Ashnard released his blade to fly toward the Wounded Man. The Wounded Man managed to dodge it, but that wasn't Ashnard's intention. Ashnard made a water rope that tied the Hoku blade stuck in the ground, far behind the Wounded Man.
