The Origin and End of a Soul

Ashnard wondered what the point of testing it was. If he fought, he would definitely lose this time. Ashnard wasn't in the right condition to fight. Moreover, the opponent was not an ordinary human.

"Sorry, but I have to say no," replied Ashnard.

The man smiled, then turned around. "Follow me."

When Ashnard heard the man telling him to follow him, Ashnard thought he intended to follow him into the wide arena to start the fight. After he exited the passage which was narrower than the passage in the academy and only contained torches along the side of the wall, the light at the end of the path began to appear. The light opened Ashnard's eyes to see more of the room where the spirit line ended.

"What place is this?" Ashnard stopped in the middle of the open road. Just realized that he and the prison he was locked in were on the side of the floating building. Ashnard didn't know that because the way he came in and he came out were different.

"The Hall of Judgment," Alphaeus replied.
