As the servants served the wine, King Horace looked at Hemeri and narrowed his eyes again. Upon doing this, his lips curved into a barely noticeable smile.
Rude as Hemeri was, he never wanted to behave toward him that way when others were around. In other words, Hemeri did not want him to lose face before others and he always refrained when they were in public. The self-control of the young Crown Prince was excellent and King Horace knew this very well.
After serving the wine, the servants left and the King simply looked at Hemeri once again.
"What is this?" Hemeri Van Hale promptly asked. "Do you think I would look forward to a drink with you?"
King Horace did not respond and lifted the silver wine jug. Then he poured some wine on Hemeri's goblet as he said, "Do you know that this wine is your aunt's favorite? It is imported from your empire."
