An Old Friend

For the next few minutes, all Crown Prince Owine did was watched as Lady Vanora prepared the medicine for him. He also listened to her talking.

"It had been years since my mother passed away and I wasn't sure of the procedure anymore. But I heard that there is a library here and I went there yesterday," Lady Vanora told him. "I rememorize everything; so, you don't have to be concerned, Your Highness. There will be no mistake."

Owine said nothing but the usually quiet Lady continued talking.

"Please tell me if the pain gets worse. I can also make a painkiller for you. We will have to be careful with the dosage but I think I will be able to manage that. I will also study more about that once I have time today."

Owine Varence quietly stood still but he never once turned away. Though his face was rather blank, he had many things crossing his mind.
