While Vicus stood there with many thoughts entering his mind, Commander Eloria Camer finally put down her hands and shifted her attention to him. "Did the Empress say anything to you?" She asked, snapping Vicus out of his thoughts.

"She asked me about His Highness's condition but suddenly rushed to His Majesty's working chamber," Vicus responded and cautiously asked, "Did you tell me to meet Her Majesty because you saw that coming, Commander? Because you need her to intervene?"

"That's right," the Commander replied. "I cannot leave the palace without knowing who sent those assassins."

While Vicus was thinking of how the Commander was way ahead of him in considering moves, he heard her muttering, "The Crown Prince had once told me his father's love for his mother and... I risk that while deciding to meet the Emperor. A huge risk yet it paid off."
