Chapter 5

After an hour, my head leaned against the car door. The previous scenery of housing and cities has now turned into green rice fields, I occasionally see farmers plowing the fields. I am very enthusiastic in my heart to see that, because before I only saw it in picture books.

"Esha why?" asked the driving father.

I was lazy to answer and kept leaning my head against the car window.

"Esha" called dad.

"Hmm" I answered, again I was lazy to glance, my body position was comfortable like, looking out the window.

"Take a look," said dad.

I glanced, at the mirror in the middle, my father's face was seen there smiling while blinking his eyes. ouch, my father is always trying to arouse my tiredness. I smiled back, finally changing my sitting position to be more upright.

"Esha, if you want to snack, there's ice cream," said the mother, pointing at the cooler box beside me.

I shook my head lazily, my hair was also a little messy. The hair tie was starting to not tighten, and I let it go.

I leaned back against the car window, my eyes began to close, and fell asleep.

The sun's rays began to recede, the landscape changed to big trees and jungle, I was a little surprised, as soon as I realized myself. I glanced towards the front, father and mother were busy opening the brochure, I came forward to see.

"what's wrong ma'am? Are we going the wrong way?" I asked a little worried.

"No," answered my father quickly.

I felt a little anxious, the sun was setting, the road was getting dark, and the only light source was the car's tailgate. We occasionally saw cars go from the opposite direction. I glanced back there was no other car besides ours.

"You're not going the wrong way, are you?" I asked worriedly. Looking around, you can only see the jungle.

Father did not answer and continued to focus on driving the car, while the mother looked at the maps on her cellphone.

"In front, turn right, the hotel is there," said the mother, still staring at the cellphone.

It wasn't long before we arrived at the place my mother directed us to. The place is very quiet, there are no residents' houses in this area, there is only one hotel that stands alone. The land to the right and left of the hotel is empty with no trees, about five hundred square meters in length.

"here?" Dad asked uncertainly, picking up Mom's cell phone.

I leaned in halfway between them, it's really scary here. But the hotel is quite good, with colorful lights making the hotel like a hotel normally, even though the hotel is closed, there are no windows.

Dad picked up the flyer and looked at the flyer and the hotel a few times, trying to be reassuring, but they seemed to be hoping this was the wrong way and even the wrong place.

"Isn't it wrong?" she asked doubtfully.

"This is the place," said the father looking at the mother.

"Try to enter first?" I give advice.

They stared at me at the same time

. We finally decided to get out of the car. I've never seen a car pass this way either. The night wind envelops my feet, it's cold, I hug myself to feel warmer.

Mom and dad are still very doubtful, several times looking at the brochure and the hotel. They stopped in front of the hotel.

"Come on," I asked who was already walking. I actually doubted it too but it looks from the outside the hotel is nice and the colorful lights cover the creepy feeling.

We were in front of the hotel door, getting closer we heard the sound of people talking and the sound of music. Father's hand began to grip the doorknob and then, creak! Dad opened the hotel door.
