Chapter 40

Arriving in front of the information board, my hand started pointing, slowly descending looking for the word 'theater', Ansel beside me also came forward looking for the same word. A few seconds later, my finger stopped dropping, I found it, wiggled my finger, looked at the clock, it was there, the theater started at 3 pm today.

We looked at each other and nodded together. We went back upstairs to wait in the dining room to get closer to the statue room. Arriving in the dining room we ordered back drinks and some snacks because we were a little hungry.

After the drinks and food came in front of us, we immediately ate them. By the way, the maid was nowhere to be seen, but there's no reason anymore. It took us a few minutes to finish our meal, refueling before taking on some surprising stunts.

Unknowingly, we were awakened by people coming down from their rooms downstairs in droves, we stared at each other, confused.

"what is it?" I asked.

"Theatre" Ansel replied as he continued to eat the food.

Right!, I almost forgot about that strategy. I stood up from my seat, startling Ansel who was still devouring the chocolate pudding.

"Uh, where are you going?" asked Ansel looking at me confused.

"Come on, to the statue room" I whispered closer to Ansel's ear.

"Look at that!" Ansel grunted. he seems a bit pressured to work with me.

I glanced at what Ansel pointed at, there were still servants standing guard, they had not come down, waiting for everyone to come downstairs. Suddenly one of the waiters approached me, ouch why come closer.

"You don't want to go to the theater?" asked the waiter with a smile plastered on his face.

"Um..." My mouth was stuck, I didn't know what to say. I saw Ansel who was still eating his pudding. "still waiting for my friend, he's still eating" I pointed to Ansel who was in front of me.

"Okay, we waiters go first, if there's anything please call us immediately, we are in the theater room," he said as he left in front of us.

I nodded quickly.

"hey! Why are you silent?!" My nagging hit the table a little.

Ansel just looked up, there was no reaction on his face. "You're the one who made the servant come, finish it yourself"

"CK!" I was annoyed.

There was no one in this room anymore, not even in the hotel hallway. Ansel finally stood up and finished his meal. We immediately began to implement a strategy to enter the statue room.

The hallway of the hotel building looks very quiet in contrast to the previous very busy from various hotel hallways. We walked without hesitation, so that if someone passed by they wouldn't suspect anything.

Not long from the dining room at the hotel, we arrived in front of the statue room, there was no note whatsoever except, 'no one is allowed to enter unless permitted' means that the room is very well maintained, even their servants have to get permission from the higher-ups.

When I put my hand in my pocket to take out the key, from behind I heard the sound of silent footsteps. I turned around without waiting for a signal. There was our friend's servant, Ansel followed and turned around.

"Hello" the waiter waved his hand.

I was a little surprised, also Ansel had time to nudge my hand with his elbow.

"this?" I asked lifting the key I took out of my pocket.

"Yeah, just a minute. Listen, Esha, when you come in, immediately look for the statue of your parents, as well as Ansel, after that open the lock, they will automatically be free from the statue" said the waiter giving directions, "and don't take long, the higher-ups will definitely realize someone opened the room"

I nodded in understanding.
