Chapter 98

After I was done preparing my breakfast, I poured myself a glass of milk, quietly sat down, and feasted on my meal. Despite everything that had happened so far, witnessing a man-eater infect the three lackeys and later on ate each other piece by piece, discovering a dead body of a student on our first special exam back in the forest, and the encounter with a group of what Ira and I claimed to be man-eaters, here I am peacefully having my breakfast whilst I watch the news on the television.

Last night, I had a conversation with Jarvan regarding the identity of what he deemed to be the real 'infected' among our group. The conversation went on like this.

[Jarvan: Tricked the sixth 'detective' again into voting out a fake 'infected.']

[Me: Heh... That's awesome. You're doing your job well, eh? Tomorrow, the next and last 'detective' will be me. Got any solid proof of the real 'infected?']
