Esecleus Agnello Villin left his province life to start a new one on a man-made island where his college university was built and funded by the government. University of the New Philippines is located not so far from the Manila shore.

Everything was ordinary at first until an incident occured where a student hurt another student to the extent that the victim lost consciousness. When everyone thought that it was just some crazy incident and won't happen again, another similar incident happened until things became unclear and everyone began to turn crazy.

Obscurum Within

Onto the murky grassy path, I with Arabella on my back, huffing and feeling the intense fatigue stopped for a moment when I finally realized that we have reached the mini-park 1 on the west side of the man-made island, wherein the men's dorm was just several meters away from it.


I gently put her down on one of the benches and I sat down beside her, catching my breath with my arms spread on the rest of the bench.


"Uh, thank you for carrying me all the way from the school to this mini-park, Ira."


Arabella genuinely thanked me, holding my hand as I felt the gratitude from her words. As someone whose weakness was small gratification and compliments from women, I grinningly scratched the back of my head.


"It's nothing. Everyone would have done the same."


She suddenly stood up, bowing her head so low that it made me 


"No, no, no! Please raise your head. I just did what was needed to be done."
