CHAPTER 48

I am worried about her. I know she can protect herself but I can't stop myself from worrying, she is still a woman. A woman who's very special to me, and I won't let anyone hurt her, even imagining it is giving me a pain in the chest. Something that can kill me inside without an effort.

As soon as we reached the base, I ran towards the head's office but Estella blocked my way with a serious expression. "Why are you in a hurry, child?" She asked me.

I didn't answer. I don't think saying that to her will be a great idea. "Tell me, you don't need to have second thoughts," she said, as if reading my mind. She stepped forward to me, trying to corner me but I didn't blink my eyes at her. Her tactics will not be used against me.

When I knew she would not go away until she heard it, I just decided to tell the problem. "Ivory, the Blacks took her. We encountered some of them earlier." She frowned, her face was serious and it's obvious she's thinking about something.
